“I visited my brother who lives locally. He took me and our other brother here because he loves this place and goes frequently. Being a wine lover, he let me pick our dinner wine. Came across an O’Shaughnessy Cabernet and had to stop right there. I know the product, had the pleasure of drinking this with Luke Russ when he did a wine dinner in northern Illinois a few years back. The owner saw the bottle on our table and introduced himself to us and we talked about Luke. Great moment. Fabulous food! Asparagus fries, halibut, deviled eggs, butter cake…. It was all fabulous! “This is the ultimate sushi spot. We have been coming here for many years for date nights and also nights with the family to celebrate and enjoy a special occasion. Everyone here knows us and we are always welcomed with big smiles and “come in, come in!” The staff and chefs here make this place feel like home, like this is our spot. It’s a very small restaurant, hole in the wall, which I absolutely love. We’ve sat at tables inside, the bar, and the tables outside are great too! They have enhanced the outdoor area with umbrellas and heaters, candles and table lamps. We always ask about the specials - go with the specials! They have sake, beer, sodas, tea - we usually get a large Asahi and share it, or ask for a recommendation on sake. The oysters and monkfish liver, when they have it, are incredible! Any and all of the nigiri is our go-to, can’t go wrong with any of the rolls too (we usually do sushi when dining in and get rolls for take out). I love the uni and unagi, chu toro and buri toro (all the toro), hamachi and kanpachi… I honestly love it all. The kids always get udon and karaage chicken with a side of white rice. This is our special place to celebrate, so grateful to have this kind of spot to go to that’s close to home. We love it here.“

“UPDATE: I have raised to 4 stars because the service has slowly improved over the last few months. Thank you for taking note of customer input and acting on it. As of now 11Aug22, solid service, good food. Taco Tuesday is great. I will continue my regular visits and hope to give 5 stars soon.Old: The last several times we have been to TJ's we have had no service. We are coming off the course hot and thirsty, we seat ourselves and no one comes by for 15-20 mins. No water, no welcome, nothing. If you can get served the food is solid. We have enjoyed breakfast here before and it was really good. When its 90 degrees and golfers are coming off a round on the course, offer them some water would ya? I HATE giving low reviews, but until this situation is fixed it will stay this way.Edit: The director of food and drink responded almost immediately so I raised my review by a star (From 2 to 3). I will go back sometime in the next couple weeks (Anonymously of course), if the problems have been resolved, I will edit this review further.“

“We had such a great experience at Cosmos thanks to our amazing waitress, Rosie. She was so friendly, thoughtful, and truly went above and beyond. As a young mom herself, she completely understood what it’s like dining out with a toddler, she just got it. She brought out our son’s food early, brought to-go boxes before we even asked (because with a toddler, you’re always on borrowed time!), and made us feel so comfortable and cared for. “Pizzas are good and the service is excellent but the drink menu is displayed on TVs which shift so you'll have to wait to see what you want again for the whole thing to move up. Atmosphere is cool too, it does reflect the Chicago chic what with the exposed brick wall and whatnot.

I was pleasantly surprised; the chicken fried rice and mushroom chicken were absolutely delicious. Everything was spot on, and if you're looking for authentic Chinese cuisine, this is definitely the spot. The driver arrived promptly and was very courteous. As for the food, I ordered an Italian Sub, and I can confidently say it might just be the best one I've ever had in California! “Team here is really great. I tend to go in during peak rush, so they are busy busy busy. However, despite being so busy they take the time to make sure you get the best quality bagel or sandwich. I've also used this as a quite place to get some work done. No wifi, so I had to use my own hotspot, but it was quiet and clean and being able to get a coffee refill was a plus.
