“We recently catered a birthday party w/Casa Playa. It was pretty short notice, 3 days, but they really made our party perfect! I called and Alathena helped walk me through the menu to choose just the right amount of food. They provided the buffet racks and the sterno (saved me a couple of trips looking for them). Everything was delivered exactly on time and hot! They even provided signs to make choosing easier. The food was DE-Licious!! Crispy tacos were awesome as were the enchiladas. Our guests kept raving about the food even the next day. If you need catering, call them! They’re terrific, easy to work with and very accommodating. Thank you Alathena! LC“

“So i got the burrito and its hearty. Great for the price. I think its a top place around here if id get a burrito. I haven't tried the rest of the menu but cool staff. It was a but cold inside, like jumping jacks cold so eating inside was annoying. But goo resturaunt it seems. Ill be back im sure.“

“Came because we love the Baran’s breakfast burrito, but their lunch menu is just as fantastic. Tried the Cali burrito with carne asada and the jerk chicken taco and both were a 10/10. Perfect spice level and the salsa was killer too. Will be back!“

“Had an excellent breakfast there. Reasonably priced and decent sized portions. Its on PCH in Redondo Beach so traffic can get noisy. Very friendly people working there. It's take out or sit outside. They have a few tables under cover. Would definitely go back.“

“OMG! This is my Favorite Mexican food place! Everything is fresh, tasty, authentic and flavorful! The Cashiers are nice + friendly! You won't be disappointed! A hole in the wall with limited seating but is on the Pier with ample seating! Bring lots of quarters for parking! Weekends are hectic but during the week is easier!“

“My friend just picked up two decadent burritos from this place. — one shredded beef and one shredded chicken — and wow, they were unbelievable! The meat was so tender and perfectly seasoned, it literally melted in my mouth. You can tell it’s slow-braised with love and care. The burritos were perfectly wrapped — thin but packed just right, with the perfect balance of rice and flavor. Honestly, they don’t even need salsa — they’re that good on their own. Easily the best burritos I’ve had in a long time. Highly recommend!“

It's hard to order anything else, but they do have an amazing crunchy chicken taco, the big ole quesadilla with bacon, chopped tomatoes the size of a dinner plate, topped with guacamole. Their beans are delicious, and if you want to sit cozy in a booth under a dim lit room, this is your place. They have a bar serving their specialty margaritas.
