“I wanted a special birthday cake for my wife and told Monica the general idea. She turned my idea into made a beautiful cake (I supplied the edible maj jong tiles) that was so delicious. The cake was a big hit with all our guests. She was very easy to work with and I highly recommend her!“
“I’ve been gluten free for 15 years, and it has been rough. But I have made the most of it by searching for gluten free treats everywhere I go. I’ve had gluten free pastries in dozens of cities including London, Florence, Madrid, Sacramento, Lahaina, and Austin. Other than the now shuttered Helmut Newcake in Paris, Sweet Diplomacy is my favorite of all time (and only 20 minutes away!). If you have tried baking gluten free you know pastry (choux, puff, flakey) is really hard to do. This place gets pastry and cakes as close to wheat flour as it gets. I enjoy all of the offerings but I’m most impressed by the pastry. The cream puffs OMG. And today I tried the tiramisu for the first time (it knocked my socks off). The coffee is excellent, and I love their cupcake varieties and cookies but my stomach is only so big.I personally do not reach for the vegan offerings but this is because I don’t need to (give me butter!!). If you have restrictions they have nut free and vegan options.I’m super impressed by this, especially knowing the difficulty of GF baking.Dietary restrictions: 100% Gluten free. Vegan options. Nut free options.“
“The cutest little dessert shop in Los Altos. Has the best cake and very yummy drinks. There is no longer any indoor seating but plenty of outdoor seating with shades. My favorite is the strawberry and cream cake and it is by far the best one I've ever had. Service is quick and just a grab and go kind of place where you pick up your cake and find a place to sit down. Since the seating is outdoors on a Main Street there is the ambiance of cars and people walking by.“
“I’ve ordered 3 cakes from here in the span of a month. I was so impressed with the 6in mango cake I decided to get more for a coworker birthday and going away cake. The cakes are beautiful and delicious. They’re pretty standard cake prices ($30+) I call or email ahead of time to order. The fruit cake doesn’t seem to be available all the time, but it’s totally worth. I didn’t get a pic of the tiramisu :(I’ll be looking forward to getting more cakes in the future! The other pastries from here are good, too!“
“i dont eat dessert often. but every product here ,its size is perfect for sweet guilty. highly recommend pumpkin basque cheese cake, japanese pumpkin mixed so well with cheese and bought a fine hint flavor when melting in mouth. if possible i could eat it everyday!“
“Randomly visited and bought two pieces for yesterday. I was a bit skeptical about the price/value (a bit pricer than Lady M), but after trying the cakes, my families and I all think it deserves! Cakes are fresh and flavorable, with just right sweetness. We love both the passionfruit and the sesame flavors. The sesame one was especially beyond our expectation. Out of our heart, we recommend this shop and will visit more times in the future.“
“I only took out coffee, but the iced Americano was really delicious and the staff was friendly. And there are so many seats that you can come here to study (there are also many seats with charging cords inside).I only ordered coffee to take out. Iced Americano was so delicious and not pricey. This place was so huge. When I visited here, it was around 2-3pm and not many people were there. There are some seats outside as well. Also, the employees were friendly.“
“March is a busy month of friends and family members' birthdays. Appreciate a bakery dedicated to cakes. The Cakery is a small cake shop on Burlingame Ave in Burlingame. Parking is on the street. No dining areas but of course, there are benches along Burlingame Ave. Sometimes it's just nice to get a sample of cake slices versus a whole cake to celebrate a birthday. We enjoyed the vegan mango tarts, marjolaine cake, and dark chocolate mouse cake. The vegan mango treats came as two pieces and were so good if you prefer a fruity sweet treat. The marjolaine cake seemed dry to our taste. While the dark chocolate mouse cake was heavenly to taste as it was so light in sponge but gave you a good sample of dark chocolate that wasn't rich but just right in texture and smoothness. Will likely return for either a whole cake to order or just get a sample of goodies.“
“I love Sprinkles LA. Anywhere else seems to be just ok. My fave has always been red velvet. Tried the cookie cupcake and it was super rich. The cake portion was super good but the frosting was so rich and just became too much for the muffin. Def want to go back and try other flavors though.“
“I love these meringues! Add to that that they are a local, family owned establishment and I'm all in!! My favorites are the passion fruit meringues but you can't go wrong with the other flavors! I ordered a large batch to give as Valentines and everyone loved them! They were ready within 2 days of ordering and pick up was seamless once I found the right location!“
