I was so blown away by their kindness that I wanted to immediately plan a stop bye their bar. I looked up the bar and read the reviews and it confirms they are just genuinely good people. So if you are like me and want to reward good people check them out, I know I will.”

“We come for the fries because they're made in peanut oil & so yummy! Would give 5 stars, but maybe every 7th time we order fries they're not piping hot & I can't stand fries that aren't fresh. Not really into their chicken sandwiches personally, especially since we go to Mom & Pop Chicken Shop in Cameron Park, but in a pinch I'd eat one if I had to.

They're not using an acidic solution to wipe their tables & floors, so there's that oily build up that happens due to the deep fryer nature of their foods, so it's not pleasant to sit there. It smells of the old oils & the tables are sticky. We usually order to go & sit in our car due to this, but as long as they don't change their quality of food this will continue to be one of our favorite fry spots!

“Great food, great family and staff, and nice and clean location. We had the Italian boss sandwich on fresh sourdough trucked in from San Francisco that day.. unbelievably yummy! The cannolis are amazing, and the chicken parmigiana was delicious. Great prices too! Definitely recommend!!!”

“I went to Annie's for the first time today and ordered the Mexicali sandwich and fries. The chicken was cooked perfectly and the sandwich had just the right amount of spiciness to it with the chipotle sauce and jalapenos. The fries were amazing and crispy too. Everyone that works there was very attentive and super friendly. I live right around the corner and I will definitely be back to try the breakfast and mimosas. I told my husband it was a 10 out of 10.”

“Geartooth Alewerks is genuinely one of Placerville’s best hidden gems. It’s a family-owned brewery, and the whole family puts so much care into what they do. Mom runs the kitchen, Dad handles the smoking of the meats, and the brothers are usually out front making everyone feel welcome. They are some of the kindest, most generous people, and the whole place has such a friendly, relaxed, family-friendly, familiar atmosphere.

The food is just SO good. The smoked meats come out delicious and perfect every time. The smoked chicken thighs are incredibly juicy and flavorful. The nachos are amazing and the portions are seriously generous. I also love getting the mac and cheese with a smoked hot dog cut up on top. And if you are lucky enough to catch the short rib, get it with the mustard BBQ sauce. It will blow your mind. There's a whole lot of flavor and love coming out of that kitchen.

The drinks are hella good too, and award winning. Definitely try the Excuse Generator. They also have a flavorless alcoholic seltzer with different flavors you can add, which is such a fun idea and so yummy.

They play cool, obscure movies and shows on the projection screen, have trivia on Thursdays, support other local businesses, and have created a place that just feels comfortable and welcoming. You can come in, relax, eat ridiculously good food, have a great drink, and feel like you’re among friends. Places like Geartooth are exactly why supporting local businesses matters. We absolutely love it here!”

“my wife & I when there after dark it was little chilly outside side they ask if we like to sit outside or inside my wife said we like to sit inside after 5 minutes waiting for a table the waitress came got us set us a table that sets 6 people the only one available at that time after about 5 minutes setting the waitress though was coming over with menus or wanted to drink but she us to get back up go set back in the waiting area because she in cases alot people came in to use that table this was first time we were ever in there our friends was a great place to eat with great food so we left pissoff wrong way to run a business plus the manger heard the whole thing didn't do everything to help us out”

“Absolute favorite restaurant in the area for both sit down and takeout. Pizza is absolutely amazing! My favorite pizzas are the Margherita, prior, and Niccolo but you really can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. A few months ago they came out with tiramisu and it is absolutely incredible. I dream about the tiramisu everyday! The green salad always tastes so fresh. If the dessert pizza is available, you have to try it. Such a fun sweet treat. Can’t rave about this spot enough. Rocky always provides great service!”

“We finally found our go to place for Chinese food. We have been searching for good Chinese food in the Folsom area since we moved here four years ago. Fortune Garden in El Dorado Hills has the best Chinese food in the area. We had fried rice, pot stickers, General Chicken, Kung Pao Beef and Chicken with Green Beans. Yes, we like to order enough to have some to take home. Everything was hot, delicious and fresh. The service was great too.”
