“My opinion best Hamburgers in Sacramento. Where else can you get a burger made from venison, wild boar, Wagyu, Bison, Camel or even Gator bites ? “Had dinner here on 1-15-25 party of 3. Very good service. Espresso martinis were great! Started with artisan bread and Brussel sprouts. It was a little weird to have the pancetta on the side vs mixed into the dish but everyone agreed we really liked them. Then we had Dungeness crab arrabiata, duck fat seared scallops and the short rib. Favorite dish was the short rib! The arrabiata had a good variety of seafood but I wasn’t a huge fan of the squid ink tonarelli. The scallops we tasty just tiny and too few, so that was the least liked dish. Finished off with a flourless chocolate cake that was good. Next time we want the brie appetizer! I’d dine here again but it hasn’t moved into my top 10. We each had a cocktail to start and shared a modest bottle of Pinot. Out the door $400.“

There was plenty of noise to keep up one's spirits but the very high ceilings of the elegant room allowed us to converse without shouting. “I eat at Huckleberry’s at least twice a month, today however my experience was not good to the point that I did not leave a tip and feel terrible about that. I went in around noon on Sunday, I knew it would be busy. I signed in for one and was told it would be a 10 minute wait. I sat there roughly 10 minutes. Two ladies came in signed in. Apparently they knew one of the waitress and were seated a few minutes later even though I was there before them. A waiter then approached the hostess and pointed at the clipboard, the hostess told him she was not going to seat one person in a booth. So I approached the hostess that initially signed me in and inquired why the two ladies were given a booth even though I was there before them, she didn’t know and looked for the waitress who sat them. The waitress proceeded to move them to a bigger booth to seat me. I was very disappointed. I realize it was not right to leave a tip but customers should not be given preferential treatment.“

“I have been an avid Starbucks drinker for over 10 years. I had the Atomic Chick yesterday and it was so good I have decided to stop drinking Starbucks so I can spend that money here instead! Spent almost $100 on takeout breakfast, my meal came with 1 sausage and 1 bacon but the sausage looks like it had been sitting somewhere for weeks just getting dried tf out and when they found it they decided to put it on the top of my food! Wtf 😡 this sausage was so dry inside that it crunch when I snapped it in half. “If I could give them 10 stars I would!! The owner was personable and down to earth. It might not look like much from the outside but 100% worth it. It has a layed back downtown feel. We order the Waffle Sando and a pizza that was half the Old Monterey and half Olive Pitt pizza. It was the best tasting pizza I have ever had. My husband ordered the waffle Sando and he got a habanero pineapple sauce on the side. Words can’t describe how delicious it was, I think part of it made it so delicious is that you know that everything that they cook is from scratch. We live two hours away and we will definitely be back here for some more pizza and waffle sandwiches.“
