“Went through the drive-thru for Tuesday special, Papa burger, regular fries and a drink for $5. The employees were as nice as pie and the food is delicious. I bought two of them to give one to my co-worker and we both dedicating Tuesdays for A&W on Rio Linda blvd. So I wanted to update my older review but I guess I don't know how so I'm just adding it to the end of the first review. Second week of 5 dollar papa burger Tuesday, my burger has a sour smell to it something on it is old so I took a star away from them. That's the only change.“

“Was driving by and seen this! The america flag at half stuff. Stopped in food was hot fresh and handed to me within two or three minutes. Also the service was great!

“My opinion best Hamburgers in Sacramento. Where else can you get a burger made from venison, wild boar, Wagyu, Bison, Camel or even Gator bites ? Exotic meats and great selection of craft beers owner is an awesome staff is great and the cook is on point. Oh and the fries are to die for 🤤. Definitely a must try if you are in the Sacramento area and love hamburgers and fries.“

“I ate here while visiting from out of town. The food was pretty good and I always like free soda refills. The bathroom needs some work. It was very dirty, smelled terrible, and didn't have any soap. They also keep the bathroom locked and you have to request a key. Why keep it locked up when you let it sit in that state of disrepair? Might as well let everyone in and let them do what they want in there - can't get any worse!“

“I grew up just half a block away from this restaurant. Today I had the opportunity to stop by and share this experience with my wife. With how positively I had spoken about this restaurant she surely thought I was exaggerating, but with just her first bite she was clearly in full agreement with my sentiments. “This place is connected to the hotel next door. The bar next door has tables and seating where you can order from Bernardo and have full table service there's also outdoor seating on this side where you can bring your dog. The service on the hotel side is impeccable and the food comes fast. If you don't mind leaving a tip then eat at the bar / Lobby next door it's beautiful quiet and there's music in a beautiful bar where you can order whatever you want. Several beers on tap drinks to order and a couple of ciders in the can. Bernardo's itself is a order seat yourself kind of deal. As you walk in you order from their menu and then you go sit down eating at the hotel Bar Next Door which is connected by a short hallway, is a much better dining experience IMHO“

Burgers where pretty, recommend getting the chili is what set the burger off! Large fry basket was enough for 5.
Food came out within 10 minutes of ordering and there was seating inside at 6 on a Saturday.

I joked about it being down due to my BAD LUCK and a very NICE lady double checked the machine for me and said it's still down.. So I got the fry/ onion ring side and a drink. Food was FRESH.. Fries were HOT.. Chicken sandwich was FREE. EXCELLENT customer service and fresh cooked food. I paid about $8 tip included.“

The fries are waaay better than McDonald’s, same style. This reminds me of the burger drive-ins from the 80’s . Everyone says the Shakes are superb. “Feels like an upgrade to willies burger that was here prior! Burgers were great, we got the double with lettuce and tomato. Really fresh, the buns are delicious. My kids got the grilled cheese in the PBN J and they each enjoy both.
The service was great and the food came out quickly, which is important with two young kids. They also have the QR code at the table to order from your phone, which is also a nice feature with small children.
The indoor is basically the same as Willies, but they’ve done a nice job upgrading the outdoor space. We do miss the kids toys, but there’s space for them to roam around and small trees for them too enjoy trying to climb in.
Will definitely be a weekend favorite!“

“Love their food. Burgers are consistently delicious, and the sauce is awesome. I've been ordering from here since it opened. I have noticed a lot of inconsistency in their ordering/operation times. I can't ever seem to place an order when I want due to the inconsistency. They are supposed to be open at lunch most days but often end up being closed for an extra day or that their ordering starts hours after their website says they are open. This place has so much potential to be better. Please be more consistent in operating hours! I cannot rely on eating here without knowing I'll need to wait hours or even days before I can place an order.“
