“This was a special place for my mama and her mama.. every year they would come to this restaurant for Nanas birthday. When she passed a few years ago, we continued to come here for Nanas' birthday. My mama loved this place, and unfortunately, she passed prematurely (Feb 25th 2025) so now my dad and I come here, and it is a bittersweet experience every time we walk through the door I can still see my mama at the table we sat at to enjoy our food.
Today's visit was just as great. My anemia gets the best of me at times, and I was telling my dad that I was super cold and without hesitation, the kind lady that took our order turned the fans off. It's little things like that that will keep us coming back.“

“I called to order some tamales for a small dinner party and from the first call my experience was great. Great service and help placing an order. The tamales arrived hit and so fresh. The delivery guy was so kind. We ordered 7 pork, 7 chicken and 4 cheese tamales. They were all delicious but the cheese was the best I have ever had. Great value for the money. I will absolutely be coming back for more!“

“Tried once about 2 years ago and has been our go to ever since. Husband and I make the drive out to this little spot for drinks and a good meal on date nights. Their Sushi & Micheladas are bomb and just about anything on the menu is delicious.“
“The Vegetarian/Vegan tamales are the best I've ever had. Had the pleasure of meeting one of you at the Yosemite Street Fair around a year ago. That's how I know about your tamales. Super delish and highly recommended.“

“Today we had a retirement party at La Parilla with about 35 people. It went flawless! The staff was super helpful and kind. They food was great. Everything was perfect and everyone had a great time. The price point was perfect too. It exceeded my expectations! Thanks La Parilla!!“
