“Really good sandwiches, the bread always tastes fresh! they have a lot of options to choose from and service is always pretty quick and friendly! Definitely recommend checking them out, good price for big sandwiches too! & i love that they give you a pickle“
“I love love love this place. The front counter staff is friendly. And the portions of meat and fixings on the sandwiches seem to have been restored to their previous allotments. This place is far superior in taste and quality to any Subway chain store I have ever been to in my life. So good! I'm just sad I had to move away and not locate one in my current area of residence for the times when I get a craving for a Port of Subs sandwich!“
“To appreciate the small gesture I need to tell you about the pitfall I experienced just prior to the amazing customer service I just received. I stopped at the subway near Oliver's in Cotati, Subway app said they close at 10. It was 8:25pm I go up to the door it says 9:30 closes. I walk in the unlocked door and the high school looking boy with a major attitude problem snarked our from behind the register "WE'RE CLOSED". I pointed out the door said 9:30 which was met with further disgust of doing work and complained "I already closed down!" Annoyed I just left since obviously posted times mean nothing to this person as I was there a full hour before hand for sandwiches to be made to take with. Since the App doesn't have a build your own (SUBWAY MAKE IT HAPPEN!) I have to order one sandwich in store. I went to the location across the freeway (near the 76 station and Billards). Closed. Not a soul around sign and app both say it should be open. Ugh instead of wasting more gas I parked started calling other locations. Hindered by Cotati's lovely cell phone coverage I managed to ring through to a restaurant finally and then the phone disconnected because I guess it rang too long? I was trying to call other locations still and a number called me back that I had rang through. The woman on the other end stated her name said she was with subway. I immediately asked what location. "The one on Commerce"-perfect I'll be right there! I got there and she was keeping busy with cleaning and preparing to close down (still had an hour to go). She was so kind. I thanked her about 30 times for calling me back. I got my sandwich just the club sandwich but the important one was my step daughters which was double salami with mozzarella and toasted and NOTHING ELSE. Made them both combos. The employee was unbelievably kind. I want to say her name started with a D? It's not on the receipt. But I'm sure she'd be easy to find. 01/09/2030 @ 8:40ish commerce Blvd location. Had blue highlights/ends. I don't normally tip much of anything but I purposely over paid and left her 5~6.“
“Not sure why this place has low reviews? Wtf? Yelp haters are everywhere. This is my neighborhood sandwich spot. They save the day when my kid needs lunch before school. They are the perfect lunch take out spot on lazy weekends. Went there today and Stevie was super awesome. Great personality. Ordered turkeycado. She made me aware that they switched to fresh avocados and to let her know how the samdwich was. It was perfect. Management, take note... Hire more Stevie's and ur yelp score will go up!“
“I love this spot, each time I go it is consistently delicious. It is evident that a lot of intention and care goes into the menu, quality, and service. A+ in my book, and I rarely am down to pay $15+ for a sando. Some may find that pricey but THESE ARE GOURMET STATUS AND VERY MUCH WORTH IT.Pictured top to bottom: Bahn Mi (inspired) and the Point Reyes.Tbh this is my second review because I just appreciate this spot and want to see it succeed and stay open. Also the owner is very kind and courteous and deserves it.If I get a membership at the gym it is located within, it will be in part due to The Local :)“
“Food here is tasty and fresh. I love the bread they have, very soft but not soggy (if you know, you know). Everyone here was very nice and accommodating and even allowed me to sample their chicken and tuna salads before ordering. The produce is fresh and crisp and everything together was amazing. Definitely coming back to work my way through their menu“
“Such a wonderful little spot in an understated strip mall in Sebastopol. Owned by a local family, the service is so attentive and welcoming! The menu is extensive, including all the classics for breakfast and lunch plus some unusual offerings like cabbage borscht, gumbo, and a delicious homemade mushroom gravy served on biscuits or as a side which I almost always order- it's great on poached eggs, the potatoes served with eggs, or even just to dunk toast into . Always a great experience, I will return to hole in the wall over and over.“
“Moved to Downtown Santa Rosa a year ago. I've made it a point to visit Mac's (almost) weekly. They serve up amazing sandwiches and offer 47 different options on the menu. Incredibly nice staff and you can feel the family owned atmosphere.“
“This is my go to lunch spot. Everything is amazing! I usually get a sandwich and soup. All of their ingredients are fresh and the soups are to die for. Get the broccoli cheddar whenever it's available. Trust me. Everyone who works here is super friendly and I always love stopping in.“
