Longer than 30 years ago, I was working with local bands inSanDiego, and after wrapping everything up, we'd go to Albertos or Robertos, and I thought about this while I was eating. All locations are designed the same, same menu and omg... the hotel carrots are still awesome. Of course, today, the prices have increased, but the food was soooo worth it. “Ate at the airport Habit - had never heard of it, and I was happy we found it. Great burgers - the char grill didn't result in a dry patty. Instead it was juicy and flavorful. Decent fries (like what we call steak fries in Cleveland). Very fast considering it was so fresh.“

I've been patronizing the Pit for many years (since the 80's) and it's still my once a week go to place. It's family-owned so you know the aim to please and serve is always on a very personable level. It currently services as a "walk-up, order and go" at the window (far right), but you can also call in your order and pick it up. I haven't noticed any delivery services accommodating this business as of yet, so I doubt it is going to happen anytime soon. I can't say that I blame the owner of the Pit for not wanting to give up
30+% of each delivery order just to get the same amount of business! This joint is a staple in this community and won't be going anywhere else anytime soon.“

“This place is the spot if you’re looking for a good juicy burger. From the moment I entered I felt welcomed. The lady at the front ,Rosemary, has an amazing attitude, her energy is contagious. She made sure my order was correct and fresh. I will definitely be returning for their burgers!!“

“It's a cool place to stop in for a decent plate to eat. I had a veggie omelette plate. It included hash brown and toast. I walked past people who had plates of french toast with a wedge of honey dew melon on the plate. Can't say that my food was overly flavorful it was just what it was. My plate was $14 without a drink. So nothing special. I think I should've asked for some salsa or something. The restaurant was clean inside. The only downside to this place is that you can't drive thru. It seems like it would have a drive thru. Other than that, it is a nice little place to grab a quick bite if you're in that industrial area or near by and happen up in it.

“This little bag was almost $30. I was so skeptical about the quantity and quality of the contents.
The first thing I pulled out was the overstuffed pastrami sandwich. It was dense and heavy. Well worth the price.
The Chili cheese fries with Pastrami, OMG!
I sat it on my lap, but it was piping hot, and I had to immediately pick it up. Pastrami spilled all over the bag when I opened the box. And it not only looked good, it was delicious!
There was only one person in the store when I arrived at about 11:30 a.m. I quickly learned that phone orders is the pro tip. As I waited for my order a steady stream of people picked up thier food, none looked like delivery services. The place is clean, bare bones with no seating.
This place has been on my list for a while.
It was well worth the detour.“

The toppings are a little salty, but the pastrami texture is nice and chewy, not brittle like from a can.

“I ate here for the first time last weekend and am back again for breakfast today. Was looking for a spot that was open after flying home around 9pm Sunday. Didn’t want anything super unhealthy and greasy so tried the grilled chicken wrap and my husband got the fried chicken wrap. We shared a side of fries and wow! Some of the best “fast food” fries we’ve ever had! The wraps were both great too. We appreciate that the sauces came in an appropriately sized container. The breakfast burrito this morning may be my favorite in the South Bay. Bacon was thick cut and all the ingredients were blended together. Both red and green salsas were fantastic 😉. Friendly service both times will definitely be a regular spot for us now!“

“This was my first time eating at this establishment and I have to say that I was happy that I did. The fries were well seasoned even though visibly they looked like they had no seasoning. The California burger was done quite well, containing bacon and avocado, a winning combination in my opinion. I personally love the steak sandwich and they make an excellent breakfast burrito. Prices are reasonable and there is plenty of free parking in the center lot or street parking on Torrance Blvd. They also continuously post specials and bundles which they really discount to provide a nice savings. The guys who work here are really nice and I have seen them clean at the end of the night and they do a great job. I have eaten here so many times I can't count... no fancy, not expensive.. honest tasty food quickly and affordable. Highly recommended.“
