Got my order and my food was hot the manager served me and met these ladies I almost cried they were so nice. I fly home to NC tomorrow and had to have a SmashBurger and they accommodated I got what I came for and great service. I love them and will be back in October with my cowgirls“

“I worked late last night in Gardena and was looking for a place to eat dinner. I am on the Keto diet and was thrilled to find that this diner had several salad options. I ordered the Greek salad with chicken and it was terrific. The salad was huge! The only downside is that the Greek olives had pits, which is the pits. Lots of chicken though and a ton of Feta cheese. Delicious!“

“I ate here for the first time last weekend and am back again for breakfast today. Was looking for a spot that was open after flying home around 9pm Sunday. Didn’t want anything super unhealthy and greasy so tried the grilled chicken wrap and my husband got the fried chicken wrap. We shared a side of fries and wow! Some of the best “fast food” fries we’ve ever had! The wraps were both great too. We appreciate that the sauces came in an appropriately sized container. The breakfast burrito this morning may be my favorite in the South Bay. Bacon was thick cut and all the ingredients were blended together. Both red and green salsas were fantastic 😉. Friendly service both times will definitely be a regular spot for us now!“

“We got the giant breakfast special. It was big and tasty. This is the most unassuming place and the service is excellent. Dont expect eggs beni with a mimosa. This is like your aunty is taking care of you and she don't have time for that crap. But you know she's gonna serve you up food with love and care. This is no fuss so you get paper placemats, but when I asked for creamer, I got the entire container and told to pour on my own. None of those little plastic containers with the paper top. Hashbrowns were crispy! Not burned. This is the type of place your dad is going to take you to when there's time before school and he wants to make sure you're getting enough before you have to study away. Go here. Feel like you're at home. Trust me.“

Longer than 30 years ago, I was working with local bands inSanDiego, and after wrapping everything up, we'd go to Albertos or Robertos, and I thought about this while I was eating. All locations are designed the same, same menu and omg... the hotel carrots are still awesome. Of course, today, the prices have increased, but the food was soooo worth it. Ty for awesome food and bringing back some great memories...“
