“5/5 tacos with all extras, I have eaten here maybe 30 times in the past 5 months I've lived here. $2.50 for an AUTHENTIC Mexican taco and the friendliest staff ever! I recommend getting the Pastor and Carne Asada tacos, with a Agua Fresca!
Why pay for inferior Mexican food out here that costs more? This place is INCREDIBLE!“

“If I could give 6 stars I would. I do not say this lightly, but this very well may be the best Mexican restaurant I have ever eaten at. The asada was very well seasoned, carnival crisp and well cooked, the chicken marinated to perfection. The vegetables that came with our plate were onions and roasted jalapeños. Tortillas, hand made and delicious.
The salsas, pico well seasoned. Table salsa had it's own character. The dish was served with an additional side of red and green salsa. The red was standard, the green needed a warning sign! I love hot sauce and this would fit between Los Calientes and Da Bomb in the hot ones lineup! It was AMAZING! SO MUCH FLAVOR!
We even got the margaritas which all tasted hand made. I recommend both the regular and hibiscus ?.
The service was amazing, no glass was left empty and the chips and BEAN DIP!!! Kept coming!!!! Will be back!!!“

“Today we escaped the blistering heat and went for a late lunch at Roberto’s Mexican Restaurant in Rosamond. We were greeted upon entering and shown to a booth by our friendly server. She was very helpful in answering some of our questions and even went back to the cook to enquire about what kind of hotness/heat the dish we selected had. That level or service is super refreshing and so very much appreciated (especially our middle aged white stomachs thank you for this). We settled on an order of Tacos al Pastor with flour tortillas instead of corn tortillas, a side of sour cream (just in case) and a house margarita on the rocks to wash everything down. The meal came with a side salad (or soup but who wants soup in the middle of hell - uh Rosamond in summer), rice and refried beans. Shortly after we sat down and ordered our drinks, we received a basked of chips, salsa and some bean dip. The salsa was flavorful, not too thick and not too watery, had a nice flavor and just a hint of a kick at the very end and paired nicely with the refried bean dip. The dip on its own was a little bland but in combination with the salsa very nice indeed. My margarita came out nice and cold and was super refreshing with a hint of grapefruit (maybe?). A good combination of tart, bitter and sweet and not too boozy for a late lunch indulgence. The salad was crisp, fresh and had enough dressing on the side to satisfy. Our main meal came out shortly after and our server was nice enough to not only bring 1 extra plate but 2 so we could both take food off the main plate as needed. We were greeted by two soft tacos filled to the brim with fragrant cubes of meat that were seasoned to perfection. The guacamole that was lightly drizzled over the meat accentuated the flavors and overall the meat was tender, easy to eat and an absolute delight. No salsa or sour cream was needed to tweak the taco. It was perfection as it was. The rice was good, standard Mexican restaurant rice, flavorful (maybe a tad to soft for my liking but that personal preference) and fluffy. The refried beans had some melted cheese on top and a nice, subtle lard flavor to it (and benefited flavor wise from the al pastor meat drippings). Of the al pastor tacos we have tried at various restaurants and food trucks in the area, hands down, these have been the best so far. We didn’t have room for desert but ordered some take out churros we will try this evening). Sorry no photos (I was halfway through devouring my taco before I remembered I needed to take one). 5 stars for service, flavor and value for money . Thank you⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️“

“Stopped in for lunch on our way by on a road trip.
Counter service with friendly staff. Our food was prepared quickly and was delicious!
We ordered their street tacos, $2.50 each. Simple, fresh ingredients with generous portions. Two tacos filled me up. Had to put my third in the cooler for later.
Our favorite was the al pastor tacos which are the bomb! 100% will stop in again.“

“This was the first time in a couple of years trying the cafe again. I. An say the food was delicious and the coffee was great, and I am a coffee snob. The service was wonderful and I got the breakfast burrito and it was good for two meals. They make a green sauce/salsa that is beyond epic.“
