“I really like this McDonald’s. It’s very clean and spacious. I actually came here quite a bit at night while waiting for my child to be done with practice. It’s quieter and more spacious than the nearby Starbucks. There was hardly anyone around and the kiosk ordering was easy to get coffee. The only problem I had once was an undercooked quarter pounder.“

“Looking for dinner while my flat tire was being fixed at Costco. The tire guy said this was a good place, so I took a chance. WOW! Had a Double Combo (with fries). “I finally had the opportunity to try Burger Patch in Sacramento. I've been following this plant-based burger place on Instagram ever since my partner went to visit last year. And it was every bit as good as I hoped it would be. I LOVED the food! Hearing the owner talk about the values behind Burger Patch as a business and how they live those values is so admirable. They aren't just another business saying they care about the environment, or saying they believe Black Lives Matter, or that women should have equal opportunity to men, or that workers deserve a living wage. They're actually continuously finding new ways to live these values, and the staff get to participate in ideas of how to do that. As a result, Burger Patch pays good wages, 50% of their kitchen leadership are women, they were one of the first in Sac to come out with a statement after George Floyd and participate as a business in protests, and of course, they are saving animals and the environment as they are entirely plant-based. THIS is the type of business that I am absolutely thrilled to support. If you're ever in Sacramento, you 100% MUST try Burger Patch!“

“I normally don't like coming to eat at In & Out, but from the moment we entered it had a good atmosphere, the young lady that helped us was such a beautiful soul, she had a smile that was contagious it really made me look forward to the food and it was prepared just right, I enjoyed my lettuce wrap burger along with my animal fries... “Best taco place in town hands down. I’ve never had shrimp taco before and I can say this place blew my tastebuds away. Workers were super friendly and helped me with all my questions upon ordering. I also love that there is a selection of different food not just tacos or Mexican. Super clean and simplistic ordering was easy because there was pictures on the side. “This location is one of the best I have ever visited! Even though it was an incredibly busy Sunday, the order was ready fairly quickly. Upon entering with my daughter she was immediately given an activity page and paper hat without asking for it which really made her day! The food was delicious and the service was excellent! “Currently located on UC Davis campus a few days a week at the memorial union. The menu is really simple and the service was quick too since there was a line. I ordered the original Nash combo ($16.30) at 200 degree which is standard. The burger was pretty large, a brioche bun filled with cole slaw and two large pieces of tender chicken and seasoned fries. The burger was delicious, crunchy in every bite. Also the chicken is halal. The spice level for the chicken pieces range from 0 degrees to 500 degrees, I think that 200 degrees is perfect, had some spice that wasn't too overwhelming.“

“I wish I would have taken pictures of my food but I doubt they would have done this review any justice. I ordered the chicken gyro, chicken Philly and a lamb/steak Philly via phone call and the person (male) taking the order was pleasant and articulate enough to understand him. He repeated the order back to me twice and asked if I wanted to make my food spicy and then made sure he had it down right and gave me an estimated wait time of 15. I got there 20 minutes later and my food was ready and I was immediately welcomed with a smile and a courteous “hi, are you here for pickup? “. I’m so surprised the place was empty and I was a bit scared that maybe it wasn’t a good sign but when I went in the car and opened my food I was pleased at how big my portions were meaning there was plenty of meat and chicken on my gyro so I know I wasn’t being ripped off like in other places where they give you 5 pieces of lamb or steak for the amount you pay . The food is extremely affordable compared to other afghan/ gyro places and the meat given is soooo much more compared to others too. My husband and I took a big bite and we couldn’t stop eating even after being full. The food was so good; the chicken was so juicy and full of flavor and it tasted fresh. I also need to clarify that the “juicy” part of the meals had nothing to do with grease or too much left over oil this place really knows how to make their food so delicious without feeling like you bit into straight up oil. I did not have any stomach issues after eating and it definitely wasn’t salty so I’d recommend this place to people with sodium restrictions. The two gentlemen went above and beyond from the first call all the way til my food was given to me with a smile. Overall I would definitely recommend this place to anyone craving a “middle eastern” food item and for welcoming service. I do have ONE complaint and that is their parking availability, the entrance is tight and there is limited parking so I can see how this would be difficult to visit during rush hour times. I got the classic chocolate shake but it was a more bitter chocolate than a sweet chocolate so if you're looking for sweet, maybe get a different shake but besides that it was really good. “I just went today with my boyfriend and we loved it! We ordered the triple fatboy combo, a pastrami rueben, a double bacon cheeseburger, and a side of chili cheese fries. It’s cash-only with outside dining. The lady that took our order was really nice and so was the man who handed our order to us.The sandwiches were great!! Like sooo good 10/10!! “I've been wanting to try Firehouse Subs for quite a while but never got to it. I'm happy that I finally made it a point to try it.I ordered the Firehouse Hero with a soup combo. The soup was loaded potato soup. I ordered a small and was a bit worried that I should have ordered a medium due to the small size of the sandwich (4 inches). The meat was fresh and the sandwich was flavorful and just the right size. Coupled with the soup, it was a sufficient lunch meal for a great price. I would recommend trying if you haven't.“

Firstly, I was surprised by the updated interior, which I think looks quite nice (compared to the original diner style ambiance).
