“This is a good fish and chips shop in Old Sacramento! We were pleasantly surprised by the quality. You order at the window and they call out your number. There are picnic style benches in the patio area where you can sit. For drinks, you get sodas or beer. We got the fish and chips and a 12 oz bowl of clam chowder. We enjoyed both options. I highly recommend trying them out if you are in the Old Sac area and want something casual.“

I also have ARFID (avoidant restrictive food intake disorder) and have a really hard with certain textures, usually chicken is really hard for me to eat but I had no issues with this chicken!! The texture was consistent all the way through, pulled apart really easily, and was just overall amazing. The portions are really good and the food is very flavorful. I'm really happy with my meal. “ANYTIME a place scores more than four stars with hundreds of reviews it HAS to be good. If I could give Scott's Burger Shack 10 stars I would! I absolutely love this place. They've been around forever yet, they've ALWAYS managed to have the BEST tasting burgers at lower than fast food restaurant prices. I would easily eat there three or four times a week if I could. However whenever I am in the South Sacramento area I always make sure to stop in and get a Fat Boy combo.“

During COVID they underwent a renovation and the restaurant looks so unwelcoming now. I remember they used to have the Play Place and pictures of cows on the walls. This place used to have more personality and would stand other unlike the other fast food places.
Now it’s empty. And more expensive… how is fast food so expensive these days?!?

I haven't been to that other taco place in a while, ( don't like their food so much anymore). I have to say this burrito is 100% better than that other place.
