MacQue's BBQ and Catering is a locally owned restaurant serving some of the best southern BBQ. The brisket and Mac and cheese are favorites, and the 50/50 sauce will kick your butt but is delicious. The ribs are not skimpy like other competitors, and the meats and sides are excellent. The food is amazing, affordable, and so damn yummy. There is also a happy hour on their menu every day from 2PM-5PM, which is about the BBQ, not drinks. The staff are friendly, helpful, incredible, and proud to work there. It is a small diner type restaurant that is clean and comfortable. Since the food is good, it is also busy, so order ahead or be prepared for a wait. Some reviews note the food has changed, with overcooked tri tip and dry ribs, and a BBQ sauce that is overly sweet. However, others say the food will amaze you and everyone will love it. Prices are totally fair for the times, though some find it a little pricey. It is family run and a big part of some families.
