When I passed by Tony Baloney's I knew right then and there were I was going to eat. I've heard about Tony Baloney's but I've never been, so today I'm going to see if the urban legend is true!
Well, I don't know if they make the best sandwiches in the world..but Sactown for sure is in the top 3!

“After trying a variety of banh mi offerings in town, I can happily say that this is most likely the best vegan banh mi spot in Sac. Ordered the #8 Chay modified without butter and it was great! The baguettes are particularly amazing, so much so that I ended up buying a few to take home as well. Especially considering the price point ($6 for one large sandwich at the time of review), I definitely recommend it to anyone craving a banh mi!“

“I've been coming here since their old location since 2002. I come for the food, and the sense that these are my "aunties" making the food. I don't know another place that sells pork belly banh mi, but here. If there is, I doubt it would fill up the sandwich as much as they do here. The duck salad and lotus root salad is so refreshing too!“

“We love the food at Mendocino farms and each of our family members has their favorite. We were up in this area and visited the location. Parking is a bit tight as there are a lot of stores around. We came at 6:30p and about 50% of the tables were full. A couple of to go orders were delivered in the next 15 mins. Our food took the longest time of any of our many visits at other locations - close to 20ish mins!
The serving staff was pleasant and place was clean. Marcos was patient with our order as we have allergies and picky eaters. A customer next to me complained about her food by comparing our bowls and Lizbeth handled it like champ!“

“I decided to check this place out on a whim and I’m really glad I did. First off the staff is really friendly and the prices are fair. When you go to order you give them your name and as they are making your food you can wander around the store to pick up snacks or drinks. There’s also a sitting area with tables if you’d like that instead. You pay for everything at the front counter of the shop btw, there isn’t a separate one for the deli. Overall nice deli go check it out :)“

“Usually these franchise spots like this are messy and chaotic. NOT THIS ONE. The staff is super friendly and helpful, welcoming and attentive.

The sandwich was as good as any togos you’ll get anywhere.

“I stumbled into this subway by accident since the one I usually visit was closed. My only other option was about 5 minutes away from the one I was, well it was probably the best thing it could’ve happened. Because this is honestly the BEST subway I’ve ever stopped at. Every single staff member greeted me with a smile and a “welcome in” even though they were a little busy they tried to knock out every customer as fast as possible. When I finally get to order I got help from this guy named “Ashu”, even though it was in the middle of diner rush this guy was still happy to make my sandwich, he made exactly how I was expecting it and always treating me with courtesy. Subway is literally lucky to have him, he’s probably the best sandwich maker in Sacramento. I don’t usually write reviews but I really want subway to recognize this guy somehow. I’m never stopping at my “old” regular subway, I will always be going out of my way, those five minutes are worth every second to get another one of those sandwiches. (Plus the sitting area was really clean and spacious).“

“This location did not have a lot of options that I normally get but I was able to manage. Some lady was acting stupid when I went and the employees handled it very well including the manager/owner. This lady was a topical complainer though and I saw it coming before they got to the register. “This location is great! It's paired with a Baskin Robins. And both sides are clean, friendly, quick and delicious! I made an unusually hard to understand order on my sandwich. They got it all wrong lol! But I went back and they corrected it with super speed and friendliness! Also the bathroom was clean and well stocked. Oh, and they have that fun soda machine that's like a touch screen. Nothing out of stock. Gotta love it!!! Oh, they also were polite and lawful about our service dog.
