When I passed by Tony Baloney's I knew right then and there were I was going to eat. I've heard about Tony Baloney's but I've never been, so today I'm going to see if the urban legend is true!
Well, I don't know if they make the best sandwiches in the world..but Sactown for sure is in the top 3!

“You can never go wrong with the traditional #1 & #2 which are the meat loaf and combination. The #3 grilled pork is our family favorite.

I’ve been going to this place for awhile now and have only decide to write a review today. I don’t know if management change, but their meat portion for the banh mi isn’t the same as it used to be. I used to get 6 slices on meat loaf (#2) no matter small or large. Lately they’ve been skimping on the meat.

Today I decided to try #7, bbq pork char sui. As I ate it on my way home, there was no pate nor jalapeño and the char sui was dry and cold. So I would not recommend #7. I thought the #7 would be good because I like char sui and their grilled pork is always warm when you get them.“

“Sandwiches are fantastic and prices are really fair. My Ruben Sandwich was big enough for two people and only $13. They had homemade sauerkraut made from red cabbage that was really good. Atmosphere is different, outdoor seating only and funky music. As far as the food goes we tried the Ruben and a Bratwurst and they were both fantastic.“

“Been supporting this place most of my teens and college years, I recommend this place to anyone looking for a lot of variety such as , pho , Banh Mi , snacks , drinks and anyone looking for ready to go food. Come early sometimes lines can be long. Expect delays too , sometimes they are short staff and get help from security which really is a great help to them.“

“I've been coming here since their old location since 2002. I come for the food, and the sense that these are my "aunties" making the food. I don't know another place that sells pork belly banh mi, but here. If there is, I doubt it would fill up the sandwich as much as they do here. The duck salad and lotus root salad is so refreshing too!“

“Two days ago was in the store with my husband Michael - I echo his praise and add the following comments:

Always allowed to use the restroom so don’t know what the one guy on Yelp is complaining about. It is well documented that the store closes at 8pm, and on this night, they didn’t rush us out even though we were still eating at 8pm. They let us stay while they cleaned the store for the night so we could finish eating. My husband wanted a meatball sandwich. Thank goodness the employee let us know that at that time of night, right before closing, the meatballs were frozen so my husband can change his mind. The meatballs during the day probably have the chance to marinade with the sauce…they would taste awful if used frozen. As for hygiene, the store is immaculate AND they wash their hands before handling food. I even saw gloves in use. One lady on Yelp complained about people from the Middle East. The absolute irrelevance of national origin, and the nature of her comments, suggests racism. If by Middle East she is trying to infer Muslim religion, then she should understand how important being a good host is to a Muslim…I have NEVER been treated so well as I am treating by Muslims while on travel. With regard to the two men I always see on duty at the store, one may be a Muslim (irrelevant, if he is) but I doubt the other is a Muslim; he wears his hair like he is a Sikh (not Muslim) which would suggest he is from Punjab, the north of India, which is in South Asia, not the Middle East. This potential Punjabi gentleman is very friendly to me and my husband, every visit.

When I saw the store is immaculate, I mean spotless. the table and floors, even behind the counter, are always clean, the trash in the bin not overflowing, and there are no bad smells. I am posting this on Google because the review on Yelp was so unfair. This place, the food, and these people are great. We drive a considerable distance just to order food with them.“

“This is a really great Subway shop. I called in a very large order of foot-long sandwiches and they had it ready for me in three hours. I was specific how I wanted the sandwiches cut and had other numerous requests such as toppings and things. Everything was done perfectly and above expectations. The staff were extremely friendly and specifically Chantelle did a great job taking my complicated order over the phone.“

“I had a great lunch today while I charged my car across the street. I was happy to find out they have gluten free buns that are also dairy free ( I think they were also egg free and soy free). And I was able to substitute vegan Gouda cheese for the regular cheese. They inquired about allergies and were able to clean the prep area to help reduce cross contamination, and read lables on rolls, dressing, etc. I am quite satisfied!“

We’ve switched the order a couple times to try different things on the menu and haven’t been disappointed yet but we def have our go to orders. The sandwiches are always great and made fresh to your order. They slice the meat and cheeses to order as well. They have fresh produce for the sandwiches.
