Well, I don't know if they make the best sandwiches in the world..but Sactown for sure is in the top 3!

“Sandwich #2 in our taste test: Bahn Mi at what many friends say serves the best: Duc Huong.
We tried #9 pork & #6 shredded chicken, both on garlic roll. We liked the classic pork best. The roll is perfect for this sandwich— crispy on outside & soft on inside. Dont be intimidated by crowds inside— they move quickly. We took ours to go as not really a dine-in restaurant. Plenty of parking, tho you may not get super close as it’s busy place . We will be back👍🏼“

They choose amazing, unique combinations of ingredients that compliment each other to create a beautiful and delicious experience. The mac and cheese has a delicious crumble topping. Relaxing, quiet location. Plenty of street parking. Lovely covered outdoor dining. The menu is so inventive, we try a new dish each visit. Highly recommend, this is a family favorite.“

Come early sometimes lines can be long. Expect delays too , sometimes they are short staff and get help from security which really is a great help to them.“

“I've been coming here since their old location since 2002. I come for the food, and the sense that these are my "aunties" making the food. I don't know another place that sells pork belly banh mi, but here. If there is, I doubt it would fill up the sandwich as much as they do here. The duck salad and lotus root salad is so refreshing too!“

“Such delicious fresh food!! Very hard to find fresh food anywhere now-a-days. I ordered To-Go when I arrived at the store. I waited 20ish minutes, which I fully expected because they really craft your food here. But, the staff was very apologetic and offered complimentary items for my wait. The staff was also incredibly professional and friendly and they all seemed to be in a good mood working with each other which was so endearing. Ximena helped me out and she was great! I didn’t catch the names of the kitchen staff but they were also amazing!

“Two days ago was in the store with my husband Michael - I echo his praise and add the following comments:

Always allowed to use the restroom so don’t know what the one guy on Yelp is complaining about. It is well documented that the store closes at 8pm, and on this night, they didn’t rush us out even though we were still eating at 8pm. They let us stay while they cleaned the store for the night so we could finish eating. My husband wanted a meatball sandwich. Thank goodness the employee let us know that at that time of night, right before closing, the meatballs were frozen so my husband can change his mind. The meatballs during the day probably have the chance to marinade with the sauce…they would taste awful if used frozen. As for hygiene, the store is immaculate AND they wash their hands before handling food. I even saw gloves in use. One lady on Yelp complained about people from the Middle East. The absolute irrelevance of national origin, and the nature of her comments, suggests racism. If by Middle East she is trying to infer Muslim religion, then she should understand how important being a good host is to a Muslim…I have NEVER been treated so well as I am treating by Muslims while on travel. With regard to the two men I always see on duty at the store, one may be a Muslim (irrelevant, if he is) but I doubt the other is a Muslim; he wears his hair like he is a Sikh (not Muslim) which would suggest he is from Punjab, the north of India, which is in South Asia, not the Middle East. This potential Punjabi gentleman is very friendly to me and my husband, every visit.

When I saw the store is immaculate, I mean spotless. the table and floors, even behind the counter, are always clean, the trash in the bin not overflowing, and there are no bad smells. I am posting this on Google because the review on Yelp was so unfair. This place, the food, and these people are great. We drive a considerable distance just to order food with them.“

“This is such a delightful place to stay for lunch! I often come here to get some work done, and always find myself staying longer due to how welcoming and attentive the staff are. I specifically want to shout out Valeria who is always so bright and personable. She really makes the effort to ensure your visit no matter how brief is enjoyable. I always appreciate her recommendations when I want something new! Everyone else on the team though is just as pleasant and friendly. One of my recent favs is the Peruvian Steak sandwich which is flavorful and tasty. The Not so Fried chicken is also great for something more indulgent with their honey bbq sauce. If you're opting for something lighter, I love the seasonal goat cheese salad & their sides of kale rainbow salad and lemon chicken soup.“

“I had a great lunch today while I charged my car across the street. I was happy to find out they have gluten free buns that are also dairy free ( I think they were also egg free and soy free). And I was able to substitute vegan Gouda cheese for the regular cheese. They inquired about allergies and were able to clean the prep area to help reduce cross contamination, and read lables on rolls, dressing, etc. I am quite satisfied!“
