“I've been coming here since their old location since 2002. I come for the food, and the sense that these are my "aunties" making the food. I don't know another place that sells pork belly banh mi, but here. If there is, I doubt it would fill up the sandwich as much as they do here. The duck salad and lotus root salad is so refreshing too!“

Com Ga Hainan - love the kitchen not so of the rice

The p2 is amazing and comes with a dinosaur beef bone. The pho soup is clear and savory and you can taste the herbs and beef bones boiled. The noodles portion is perfect. Comes with beef tendon, tripe, beef meat ball, and slices of beef.

The service here is quick on refilling water and has most condiments like napkins, utensils, on the table.

My favorite is their pickled garlic which goes with everything. It so dang good i always finish the whole jar. It's perfectly sliced thickness and pickled so yummy. I love how it's not spicy and just natural all garlic pieces. 😋

“Okay! This is now my favorite Vietnamese restaurant in Sacramento! The food is amazing! I love the claypot catfish! The sweetness of the catfish is perfect. The “sour cat fish soup” (I don’t know how to call it) has so many ingredients in it! It’s awesome. I love that they added okra to the soup! The meat is fresh and top notch! I’m definitely coming back with my friends! They also have a karaoke and dance floor too! I don’t drink but the bar looks very lively. The is the best new restaurant! Let’s support this new place! “This place needs more love!! We had their grilled pork banh mi — the pork was smoky, the veggies were fresh and the bread was crispy and not stale tasting at all. Also had the strongest Viet coffee I’ve ever had here 🤣 not complaining! The viet egg rolls were larger than I thought they’d be and super hot and crispy.

The woman at the counter was so friendly and seemed to really care about every customer that came in. So happy I tried this place so close to my house. Time to become a regular here 🫡“

Mi quang noodles weren't super strong turmeric flavor and the texture was just ok, but gave a lot of meat and fair value. Everything was hot and filling.“

“I had a great experience here. My friend loved the pho and I enjoyed the fresh rolls (GREAT peanut sauce) and tomato & tofu. There was some confusion bc of the language barrier but we ended up getting some free and very tasty soft tofu pudding. I want to go back soon to try the “egg” rolls and get noodles. “Even after my first review 8 years ago, this is still my favorite place to go for Pho. It's a very simple and inviting place. A variety of Pho bowls as wells as other Asian plates. Great prices. Very satisfying for breakfast, lunch or dinner! I always get the #8 with no beef balls. I really enjoy the delicious broth and al dente noodles. The atmosphere is upbeat with all types of people from every generation. I find it very welcoming for those who choose to eat alone as well. “They famous with their tofu that has mushroom, rice noodle. They only accept cash. The inside is small and dark. It's kind of un- organized, it seems like many things happening althoug there's a line. The line, place making order and payment is kind of messed up.“

“10/12/2021 Recommend? Yes. Let's get straight to the point: BEST VEGAN BUN BO HUE. That's it. I'm Vietnamese and since my vegan journey of more than 2 years I haven't been able to find a satisfactory bun bo hue. My favorite ones ever have always been in Viet Nam at a little stall in the market or the neighborhood house that makes it to sell. Here I ordered bun bo hue and cha gio. Do take my review with a grain of salt because I had been hungry for daysssss, well really just 1 day because I was on a train. Lol. The bun bo hue here comes with a paste and you should definitely add it to your bowl. It has banana blossom as a veggie to add, but in addition to that I would also love some morning glory. The broth was well seasoned and not overly sweet like a lot of over bun bo hue and the mushrooms, tofu, and "meats" have well absorbed the flavor of the broth too. The cha gio (eggrolls, spring rolls) were fine. I didn't hate it, but I didn't think they were extra great either.“

“I came here for lunch with a fellow coworker. First time here at this Cafe. From the outside it doesn’t look like much but the inside looks well put together. The decor and dining area looks charming and inviting. Seating is self serve.

We got a table and was greeted almost immediately and provided menus to look through. Our server was nice and polite.

The menu options are simpler compared to other Vietnamese restaurants. Upon ordering our food arrived hot from the kitchen with about 15 minutes.

The food came out tasty and very delicious. The egg rolls were crunchy and yummy. My vermicelli noodle with chicken and shrimp turned out well.

Between the lunch order and the two Vietnamese coffee and side order of egg rolls total came to be about $65 with tax and tip which is on the higher side for lunch for two.

Wonderful Cafe is great place to stop by for a quick bite to eat. It’s a charming little place as others have said. Expect great service but be prepared to pay a higher premium for the food. The food won’t disappoint. Will definitely stop by again and try out some of the other items on the menu.

“I ordered beef pho a couple days ago and really enjoyed it! The broth was rich and flavorful, and the portion was huge enough for two meals. I’m not a fan of rare beef so I skipped that part, but everything else was yummy. It arrived a bit cool, so I reheated it, but still very satisfying.“

“This place is a very good spot. Very well rounded in all the food. The portions are good and very reasonable for a dinner date or just lunch out with the girls. My kids like it, that’s how I found out about it. The waiters understand the orders well and are one point with the orders and food.“

We tried #9 pork & #6 shredded chicken, both on garlic roll. We liked the classic pork best. The roll is perfect for this sandwich— crispy on outside & soft on inside. Dont be intimidated by crowds inside— they move quickly. We took ours to go as not really a dine-in restaurant. Plenty of parking, tho you may not get super close as it’s busy place . “Time and time again every time I come to this restaurant I am always 100% satisfied, not only is the food extremely well priced it is also extremely good and delicious and well portioned for what you get. From the pho to the chow mein everything I have tried from this restaurant so far has been really good.
