“We discovered Marche a while back and loved the food and ambiance, especially on the patio. We recently returned and really enjoyed the food, comfortable seating and excellent service. We especially love Olivier. Being the experienced restaurateur, he always goes above and beyond to ensure we have a wonderful experience. While we miss Olivier's L'Apparte Resto, we are thrilled to be able to continue experiencing his hospitality and expertise at Marche!“

“Passed by on our first day in Sausalito and my wife was enticed by the French onion soup. She had that and the curry mussels. I had the lil gem salad and steak frites. Both were marvelous. The soup was the best my wife has had. The frites were crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. The steak was perfectly done and the peppercorn sauce added the ideal flavor. We finished with the chocolate mousse which had an amazing Carmel sauce on top.“

“Dining at buvette was a truly delightful experience from the moment we walked in. Nestled on a quiet side of the mart, this charming eatery offers a much-needed escape from the city hustle with its farm-to-table approach and incredibly welcoming atmosphere Delicious food and crepes. The presentation of each dish was beautiful and showed great attention to detail. Service was impeccable , our service was attentive and knowledgeable about the menu ingredients. Merci“

“They appeared under staffed, forgetting to provide service they said they would and not being attentive to basic customer needs (keeping wine glasses filled.) Two entrees and one side dish were bland, lacking both depth of flavor and for one, unbalanced food pairing. However, it is important to note that when we described our experience, they reduced our bill substantially and gave both couples a gift certificate to come back for another dinner. This meal was not what patrons of the original Left Bank expect. The kitchen/menu needs work and staffing needs to be better managed.“

“Have dined at Le Chalet Basque for more than 20 years. Our recent meal with lamb chops, fresh vegetables, mashed potatoes and split pea soup served with crumbled blue cheese salad couldn't have been better. Fresh ingredients, great wine and excellent service will keep us returning again and again.“
