“Our family love Dynamo cafe. Previous owner made place cozy and friendly. Now there is a new owner and so far the taste of donuts hasn’t changed. About coffee, funnily enough it depends on the barista. It might be the same Vanilla Latte or (Lavander before), but some barista can make it a bit sweeter and the other less sweet. It’s a street level place so it’s easy to come in even for strollers or people on wheelchairs. They have a big variety of donuts, so everyone will find their favorite. My personal choice is classic vanilla donut with chocolate on top as well as vegan spice chocolate.
There is always a line, there is a good foot traffic so you can order from the window and take it to go or sit inside, or even on the quiet backyard. They are kids and dogs friendly!“

“It’s my first time here, when I was approached by one of the guys behind the counter I told him right away that my son has peanut allergy, so he asked what kind of donuts for him? I said 2 Chocolate glazed with sprinkles and he went inside and made it for him… that is exceptional service…
Donuts were fresh and delicious… will be back whenever we’re around the area.“

“Donuts, cookies, french bread and coffee. Its a bit small but the food is good and cheap.
Kid-friendliness: Kids love it
Wheelchair accessibility: There's no steps but entrance is narrow so a wheelchair will be tight but there's seating in the back“

“I was picking up my wife from SFO and arrived around the neighborhood way early. Not even Panera was open at 5. I was so glad that a donut shop like this opened at 5am so I could get some food.
Store looked pretty clean and I was excited that I could get a hot savory item like #3: sausage, egg and cheese croissant. There wasn’t really room in the shop to eat so I started munching it in my car. It sure hit the spot at 5:30AM. I saved half of the croissant for my wife and got her several donuts.
The donuts tasted pretty good too. I’ll be sure to visit if I have to get to SFO early again. I gotta try one of those bigger donuts next time.“

“Despite grabbing these right before they closed, the mochi donuts were pretty good! We tried ube, churro, matcha, and coffee. We liked the ube the best. Tbh I couldn’t really taste the matcha, and the coffee was a little too sweet for me, but I really liked the texture of their donuts.“

“Wonderful texture, and great value for money with too good to go. I got the ube, churro and funnel flavors along with a iced coffee.
Ube: No ube flavor, just the color but still nice
Churro: The best of them all
Funnel cake: A little bitter weirdly
Iced coffee: Way too sweet but refreshing“
“I found this place while waiting for my food next door surprisingly. Other than the kid-favorite sprinkled donuts and holes, we asked them about their Filipino menu items . They apparently are known for their empanadas. People were coming in to buy trays full of them for their parties. I had to try them. Now each time I’m driving through the area, I swing by. They rarely have them in the donut display shelves. You need to ask them if they have them in the back. They do a great job for a small shop! ??“

“I must tell you, this is the best donut I have ever tasted. I had the apple fritter donuts and my husband had the caramel donuts. Wow wow wow, the staff were nice, service was good and the donuts were amazing. All the staff, especially the male staff were always so happy and cheerful. I wish we have a happy donuts in England. When next we are in San Francisco, we will definitely return to get more donuts.“

“Been wanting to try these donuts for awhile — not only are they INCREDIBLY instagrammable, but the sourdough spin on a donut makes them an obvious homage to SF.
We picked up half a dozen for a party and they were an instant hit — our friends loved the novelty and unique flavors (such as “blueberry and lime” and “campfire s’mores”), and they were big enough to cut into smaller bites for everyone to try.
The chewy texture leans less towards a typical baked dessert and more towards regular bread, which actually balances out the intensely sweet and decadent toppings really well.
The first notable downside is the price — I get that the donuts are high quality, but nearly $40 for a half-dozen donuts made this a one-time experience for us. We also picked up a coffee to go, and despite the cute as hell espresso machine, the coffee was below average. I just can’t see myself motivated to go out of my to come back.
The second downside was the presence of flies inside the donut case — we came in the afternoon and understand that flies can get in even the cleanest of spaces, but these big flies were landing all over the donuts. We had to ask the server to switch out a strawberry donut when she grabbed one that the flies had been on, and she didn’t seem too happy about the request.
Overall, if you’re looking for something fun and unique, this is a great place to try — but I wouldn’t plan on making it a regular haunt.“

“Their donuts are simply the best. Don’t pass up on the chance to have at least one maple cover donut as their maple is delicious and unique!“

“Sometimes you need fresh coffee and a goddamn apple fritter right meow. If that's the case don't forget to get a maple bar filled with custard. Listen fat stuffs, don't quibble 'bout it. Get your shit together. Pay the nice lady and keep it moving. Can't ever miss with a spot like this.“

“Very friendly couple at the counter. Always get a box of a dozen donuts here from time to time. They make them really good here, though I recommend getting them before 8am because the donut options get slimmer as the morning goes on. Browsing their menu, they have quite a variety of breakfast and lunch items that look good.“

“This is one of my go-to places for donuts.
I'm a simple donut eater, mainly relegated to just either sugar or chocolate donuts, none of the sprinkle stuff or the curls, but the basics are what keeps me back over and over again. It's my favorite in the city and I've tries a bunch.
I also love the fact that Cam and her mom own and run this joint, the proverbial mom & pop store, except it's a mom/son combo. And they are always in good cheer.
The only bummer is that they don't let you eat in the shop.
This is a neighborhood enterprise so worth supporting.“

“I have never written a review for a restaurant before, but I had to for this place. Me and my friends are road-tripping down the coast of California and we stopped for gas and noticed this breakfast spot near by. Walking in you can feel the warm energy of the owners and they are immediately there to help you. The food ended up being a 10/10, absolutely amazing. I got the BLT on a bagel and was thrilled. They even chatted with us and gave us each a free donut. The kindness of these owners and the vibe and quality of the restaurant is unmatched. I’m writing this as I’m eating I’m so happy.
The Vietnamese coffee may be the greater thing I’ve ever had.“

“One of my favorite donut spots. Love the donut holes and the coffee is actually pretty good.
Parking: Parking lot is shared and there's usually tow trucks. There's also a clothing drop off box. Lots a little busted. Not too long ago they fixed the sidewalk and driveway but still a little easy to miss if you're not paying attention“

“A Burlingame sweet American donut story pass on from a Polish Jewish immigrants- Philip Kares who open the shop in the late 1970’s; sold it to the Chows in the 80’s, to the Lu’s and now passed on to the Choi. Special memorable thanks to Philip and his family, the staffs—Kathy, Alversia, Alfonso, Mike, Ray, Steve, Genie, —and the many wonderful customers who help made this place specials...“
