They even added in some chips when I asked do they come with chips. The chips were fresh and warm still. When I got home my food was still warm but I did have it in a warmer bag from doordash LOL. This restaurant was very clean and they also have the condiments of different type of sauces in clean squeezable bottles, self service packaging. Everything was delicious and seasoned to perfection. “Hidden gem on El Camino! I stopped by S El Camino Taqueria on a whim and was shocked the place was empty—this spot deserves way more traffic.

I had the carne asada burrito and every single bite was on point. The meat was tender, flavorful, and perfectly grilled—no weird chewy pieces or filler, just quality carne asada. The ingredients tasted super fresh and well-balanced, like they actually care about what they’re serving.

Bonus points for the salsa bar—especially the avocado salsa verde. Creamy, tangy, a little spicy, and absolutely addictive. I could’ve put that on everything.

Will definitely be back. This place is seriously underrated.“

“This place has the best Mexican food we’ve had. We were visiting San Francisco from DC and wanted some authentic Mexican food. Once we saw all of the rave reviews for this place, we decided we had to go and our experience 100% lived up to the reviews.

When we arrived and were taking a little while to absorb the menu, the very kind man at the counter offered to let us try all of their sauces so that he could make a recommendation for us. All of the sauces were delicious, but we each gave our favorites and he recommended that we each do a mix and match enchiladas plate. They were phenomenal.

I want to emphasize that these are genuinely kind and warm people. On top of offering to have us try their sauces without asking, when we sat down they brought us a basket of chips and three salsas on the house. We felt taken care of in a way that stands out compared to other restaurants.

If we lived in San Francisco, we would be regulars here. Definitely coming back any time we visit in the future! 10/10 would recommend, no notes.“

“We ordered tacos for a post-wedding brunch at my parents' house the day after our wedding and they were a hit! The delivery person was prompt and super nice. They set up all the tacos, salsas and left menus that described each taco type. The tacos were all individually wrapped and labeled. It was perfect to have a mix of tacos with meat, vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free so there was something for everyone. We had some left over and they have been delicious just heated up in the toaster oven. I highly recommend them for any party or gathering!“

Big salsa bar in the back with flavorful salsas (you can really taste the smokiness of the peppers in the red sauce, and the green sauce is wonderfully tart). “This is the only place that offers fish or shrimp burrito. They also have the normal meats burritos which is very good however my favorite is the fish burrito. I know? Fish burrito. They have the fish burrito or shrimp which is very unusual. They not only have the fish burrito, they give you a lot. It’s enough to cover the entire burrito and not over cooked at all. In terms of meat, my husband’s favorite is the carne asada(beef) burrito or pork Al pastor( bbq pork). He also tried the chicken and he said it was a little bit too dry for him the meat.“
