“We got a combo doner (gyro) wrap. I am picky about doner, it is very hard for me to like if it is not really good. But this doner was amazing! Juicy, well cooked, tasty. “The vibes are pristine. The environment in the restaurant is bright, beautiful and genuinely welcoming. “I found this place by chance when I was looking for something else to eat. I enjoy mediterranien food, but this place knocks it out of the park. The food, fantastic. The service, exceptional. If your looking for something better than the local greek fast food joint, this is the place.

“I have to say, I’ve had quite a journey when it comes to my opinion of this place.

The fact of the matter is that I have found the following to hold true:

1. Redwood City is far away from everything
2. The parking situation is abysmal
3. There is never a table ready when you get there
4. The food is expensive

For these reasons I used to avoid going there- not because of the food quality but it wasn’t worth going there in lieu all these things.

That being said, their meat is great, the vibes are great, and their service is great. Their beef kofta is sublime, and I have to say their falafel isn’t too bad either. They also have a pretty good frozen date juice that I enjoyed.

If you don’t mind the 4 things I listed (I am personally starting to care less and less about them in lieu of the amazing food), definitely go. This is probably the best Arab food I’ve had in the Bay Area.“

Don’t let the name fool you—Meditation Pizza and Gyros is actually a go-to spot for incredible Turkish food. The Adana kebap is grilled to perfection—spicy, juicy, and bursting with flavor. Pair it with their fluffy rice and salad, and you’re golden.

Their pide is equally amazing—crispy edges, soft center, and topped with melty cheese or savory meats. It’s the ultimate comfort food.

And please, whatever you do, save room for the künefe. This dessert is a masterpiece—warm, crispy, gooey cheese soaked in sweet syrup and topped with pistachios. It’s the kind of thing you close your eyes for after the first bite.

“Mardini's had a great selection of sandwiches, salads, burgers and falafel. I bought a chef salad and borrow the restroom. By the way the light switches are on the outside of the restroom. You Can Only Imagine and I had to find my way in the dark because I didn't know that.“

“Seems like a pretty chill place. Walked in to order takeout and it was pretty empty; but we were able to order quite quickly. The menu is pretty easy to order from and all the options seem pretty good. After ordering the food came quite quickly and we were on our way.

The fries were pretty good; they had a nice seasoning on it and were warm and crisp. The wrap was good too, a lot of meat and vegetable in the wrap, and the sauce dip tasted pretty solid too. I think the wrap could be a big better with more sauce though hahaha“

The seasoning level is lighter than most other places selling gyros which in my opinion makes it taste more authentic and let's you get more of a wholesome outdoor grill vibe from the food. Their chicken and veggie kabobs are my go-to favorites, and their falafels, hands down the best I've ever had. Their food certainly lives up to the name with that unmistakable fresh taste every single time.

“I came here to try their Quesabirria tacos and let me tell you they hit. They had a good amount of meat in them and well seasoned and their hot sauce made sweat but it wasn’t over spicy. Dipping the tacos in that consome was so good. I’ll definitely get these again and now I want to come back and try other food items. “We ordered the house combo and it was very tasty. It came with 4 meats(chicken,beef,gyro ,koftedes). All of the meat was juicy,tender and well seasoned. The rice. was fluffy ans delicious. The mixed green salad had tomatoes amd cucumber and was topped with a pickled cabbage and dressed to perfection. I only had a small bite of the pita because rhe meal was so filling. I had such a great experience here. The hospitality here is amazing and everyone is so welcoming from the moment you walk in.
A special shout-out to the bartender Fatima and the manager Ahmet seriously one of the best! You can tell they really care about the guests. If you’re looking for good food, great hookah, great vibe and top-tier service, Pasha is the spot!
