This was my first time here. Compared to the other restaurants in Old Town. It is very slow. There only two waiters. The closer it got to 1pm. The busier it got. The service is okay. The waiter was very polite, and checked on us often. After the food was served. The ambiance is an old time western Mexican theme. Right next to restaurant, are musicians that play for the plaza. Being in the heart of old Town San Diego, this place is touristy and a bit pricey for what you get. They have a beautiful outdoor dining area with live music from the plaza area right next door. The service was decent, the food could use a bit more flavor, we ordered the expensive molcajete dish with shrimp, chicken, carne asada, and chorizo! The food was delicious, and our waiter was friendly, but the service was really slow. We waited a good 10 minutes before we were able to order drinks and another 15-20 minutes waiting for our drinks and being able to order our food. It was Sunday evening, but maybe the restaurant needed a couple more waiters
