I like the food and even the manager of this particular Del Taco (in downtown San Diego) and appreciate the fact that they honor the SNAP EBT program, yet during rush times, their tendency to grant drive-up and order-from-the-app folk constant automatic priority over walk-in custys is their primary downfall, IMHO. Although the downtown location is a bit more good than most, you can get a lot of the basics here, especially when you're on a short time or money budget. Although the Mexican food menu has unique takes on classics, all the basics are there... But no hot coffee ?
