I love Flame Broiler! Unfortunately, this is the location closest to my home. This location is the sketchiest one I've ever seen. The walls are this disgusting lime green color that looks old and grimy. There are a few tables inside, but they're always dirty. So I always order to-go. Except this time... my parents and I were dining here before heading to an event near the Embarcadero so we ate inside (it was cold outside). It reeked of bleach and yet all the table tops were dirty. Kim didn't take my order correctly and didn't give me the right order number to pick up my incorrect order. I usually love Flame Broiler, but this one is a location I try to stay away from.

Shrinkflation is powerful here. Costs are up, bowls are smaller, and the portions are becoming disappointing. The regular bowl these days is the same size as the OG kids bowl. I mean, it's still a delicious and filling meal, but it used to be a delicious and filling meal for 2. Their new tagline should be, "Flame Broiler: Lite on Calories, Lite on Value!"
