“First time here and I really enjoyed my meal. Had the Chicken meatballs in chicken broth, mild with a side of pork gyozas. The atmosphere was really chill, I read my books as I waited for my meal. I'm definitely going back to try out their other options, maybe no spice to try out the broth without the heat of the spice.“

“Best ramen spot I’ve been to! It was my First time trying HiroNori and I was blown away. The pork was so tender it practically melted in my mouth, the Yuzuade was super refreshing, and even the rice was cooked perfectly. Everything tasted fresh and full of flavor. Definitely coming back!“

“I came here for the chashu ramen. I subbed the soup base to tonkatsu. A few things. I liked the chashu. It has a nice richness about it. Really slick texture. Yummy umami. The tonkatsu broth was really deep. It was very flavorful. The noodles were... ok. I like that it is wavy. But it didn't have the chew. I had hoped for more chewiness. Rather, it was soft and a bit mushy. The service was attentive without being overbearing. Just the right level. And the restaurant was clean.“

“First time here. Service was excellent! William helped us decide on our order and was friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. The food is delicious and the presentation was perfect. We had the spicy miso ramen with gyozas and salmon teriyaki with tempura. The gyozas and tempura were perfectly crispy. My husband loved the ramen and he could make it as spicy as he wanted. The miso soup is one of the best I've had. The salmon was excellent and all the sauces were delicious. We will definitely be back!“

“I would definitely recommend this place to others as the service here was extremely great and I’d definitely recommend my server her name was Marcella and she was very kind. The food was also good it came out fast and the meat was so tender.“

“My go-to has always been the Saikoro Mazesoba and I like how much meat was given. The sauce is thick but it's not too intense to the point that it becomes too much, which is good for me. The vegetables added texture to every bite and it does well to prevent us from getting tired from eating the same texture and taste. I like the condiment choices they provide on the side as well. I feel like the price is fair and the atmosphere in this restaurant is pretty good. My only criticism is that the meat is a little dry. I gave it a 4/5 stars but on a 10-rating scale I would give it an 8.5“

“Hands down the BEST ramen I've ever had anywhere. They make their own ramen and they've perfected it. I've been enjoying it for the last 4 years while my son was going to Pomona College but now that he's graduated, I enjoyed my last bowl of their ramen yesterday. No other place I've been to in CA, OR, or WA comes close. I will miss Menkoi Ya Ramen!“

“This place is incredibly good, don't let the looks fool you! The food is fresh and very very high quality, especially considering it's not expensive at all. Look, just being honest... every time I come to this area and they're open, I HAVE to eat here. It's that good! I honestly regret every time I pass by and can't get one of their delicious bowls.

I personally love the garlic chicken, it's very spicy and flavorful. They get it right EVERY time. I really appreciate small mom and pop restaurants like this one, and you should too. Try them out, you won't be disappointed!“

“My daughter and I went to Kopan for the 1st time. Let me tell you, what a wonderful experience we had. The food was excellent , we had a variety of dishes including sashimi. Our waitress was great, she was funny and recommended a the Plum Sake.

“My husband and I came in here tonight with our 3 year old for dinner and Amy was our waitress and she was absolutely amazing. Our daughter used our Apple Pay to pay for dinner and Amy joked around that she was so nice to pay for dinner and I joked back saying it was coming from her piggy bank and Amy shared how she was always excited when she was little to put money in her piggy bank and gave our daughter a dollar to put in her piggy bank when she got home. That was honestly the kindest thing someone as ever done. My daughter was so excited to get home and put it in. So thank you Amy for being not only a great waitress but so kind to our daughter.“
