“Smaller than expected but I enjoyed the food! I got the: Chicken Karaaga Bowl. The chicken was jucy on the inside and extra crispy on the outside. I liked how they added ginger to it and really complements the dish. They also have Soy Sauce and Gyoza Sauce on the tables to add if needed. Really enjoyed the meal and I had the large size. Is also very wallet friendly.“

“This place is incredible!! The broth is so flavorful and the karaage is hands down the best I've ever had - it melts in your mouth like toro!!! I've eaten at many ramen spots in and out of Japan, and this is the real deal - authentic, delicious, fresh meals cooked with love and skill! Domo arigato gozaimasu!!
Parking: Going just past the restaurant there's a large open parking lot.“

“This was busy for a Tuesday after a long weekend. Our server, Rachel, was single-handedly managing all tables swiftly and courteously. She also asked customers to ensure their order was correct before paying. Food was good; service was superlative!“

“We were in the area for a college visit and ended up looking for a late lunch. Nested in quiet college town, Menkoi Ya was a good find. Comfortable settling and easy to get in and out.
Ramen broth was decent but a bit lacking in depth. The servers were pleasant and to the point.“
“I've had this a few times here, perfect for late flights when everything is closed. Hell I like it better than the other restaurants in this terminal. They hid it in the corner near gate 401 as of Jan 2023, but that won't stop me. You have to get resourceful with the utensils though since they removed the little tray of them it had nearby.“

“First time there and definitely will be back and bringing the whole family! Good prices too. Had the rice bowl and ramen bowl both delicious! Gyozas were tasty but need to try the spicy ones. Staff was very nice. Vegan options too which was nice. Tofu bowl was really good. The ramen broth was very tasty.“

“Nice little hidden gem. Food was good, although nothing distinct about it to reel us back in. If I return, its likely because of the convenience factor.I ordered the Gyu Don and Pork Bun. Gyu Don was delicous, hit the spot, but still wasn't the best i've had. The pork bun was a let down. A little bland, and the lettuce inside didn't compliment the overall dish. It tasted more like Chinese pork Bao. My Significant other ordered the Tonkotsu shoyu Ramen, and enjoyed it. It's not the best Ramen, but for the price, and location, its definitely worth it if you don't feel like driving out elsewhere.Parking is easy and plenty available.

“Ok so food was incredible- even the waiter was really sweet and attentive. But I agree with the rest of the reviews: service was very slow .
It took a while to get our food and I didn’t think it was that full . We got our food and like 15 min later my husband got his . He was about to cancel his order and just eat off my ramen .
But the 4 stars go to the good food and variety of options they have ♥️
Kid-friendliness: Have a cute kid menu option with a small ramen .“

“This outlet serves the saucy (non soup) version of Japanese ramen. I tried the spicy original mazesoba. Also side of gyoza. Mazesoba comes with soft boiled egg in the middle and you need to mix the entire bowl with your chopsticks to get all the flavors mingle. They suggest that you add some vinegar. There are multitudes of toppings you can add such as corn and extra proteins. I tried the curry mazesoba as well and it was ok but the curry flavor was showing the powdery texture along with high spice of green onions which made the experience too harsh. The deluxe version may get up to $20 if you choose the souped up version and added toppings. The default noodle is a thicker ramen type similar to a udon texture. You can choose egg noodle version if you desire. They offer you a scoop of rice to eat the remaining sauce if you Ike. Gyoza was just okay. It might have been premade type and they were too small.
Wheelchair accessibility: It’s on the ground floor“

“Recently this place has become my hidden gem. I am absolutely obsessed with this little restaurant nestled in downtown La Verne. The food is absolutely fantastic, and the owners are criminally under charging for their generous portions and delicious food. However, I think im most impressed about how much the owners care for their customers. My sister and I went to get coffee from nambah, and we came back to wait for our food. The owner saw that we had our drinks and without even asking, included coffee biscuits/cookies in our bag to enjoy with our beverages. My sister and I were absolutely baffled at the generosity because this is the type of treatment you’d see in places abroad. But we felt totally welcomed, cared after, and most importantly viewed as people rather than customers. I have been going here once or twice a week for the past 2 months and they haven’t failed me once.“

“Very good Ramen. The noodles were my favorite part. Many places just don't get the texture right, but this place nailed it. The flavor of the broth was also good. Tasted exactly like the description. I am coming back to try the other flavors soon!“

“Wow this place surprised me so much, I went on my birthday it was a Thursday mid day and it was lonely. Not sure if that’s good or not but as we walked in, we were greeted and welcomed to a nice beautiful atmosphere.
Open concept, nice design. We were serviced beautifully everything was clean and squeaky clean floors.
Menu was okay to read, but we were able to order a few yummy rolls.
Ocean roll
Super salmon roll
California roll
Vegas roll
Wow the my favorite was the Vegas roll the combo with the crispy outer layer and the fresh fish on top with avocado with sauce oof it was delicious a must order option!
Everything was delicious and what made the difference was freshness.
I would definitely come here again or order out, but it seems a lot of people order out. Dining in was a great experience and more need to come and experience everything as well at least when they can.
Parking was a bit difficult, one level and easy wheelchair access.
You can get vegetarian options here or ask what they have :)
Overall my experience was pretty great and those who love sushi definitely need to try this place out.“

“This was our first time at Ichi. From the moment we walked in we were happy. The decor is great and inviting. The employees were nice and attentive. If you feel like ordering poké can be intimidating you can use the extra large tablets to order all the goodies you want and take all the time you need. The servings are generous and delicious. We will definitely be back for more.“

“Allen is the man. This place is like eating at home but like they make sushi and stuff. Food speaks for itself and is legit. Best sushi place for miles. Small intimate place easily becomes your go to spot to eat. Very friendly and just like a barbershop open to conversations that end up taking over the place with laughs. Get to know the chefs and they'll become family and take care of you like no other. If I could give more stars I would. I never really write reviews but this place deserves recognition from staff alone. Love the food too. Them rolls man ? . Let's go! God bless.“

“Cozy ramen spot with delicious broths. Their food is super fresh and made to order. I'm in love with the black tonkotsu ramen and chicken kaarage appetizer. If your in Chino hills I highly recommend this place :) the hot sake is also fire.“
