“Sarita & Tevon gave me the sweetest, nicest 5 Star service. The atmosphere here is also nice with great neighborhood mall and amazing people.
Unfortunately, if you do your research, if true, chipoltle pre cooks the food at a national kitchen, pre cooked via sous vide type method in plastic bags before distributing nationwide to their stores. At the retail level, the staff reheats your food in plastic bags. If you are there when the food trays run out, you can see this is true, they bring out the new food hot in plastic bags.
They say online, independant food testing Chipoltle has tested very high for microplastics & phalates aka carcinogenic exposure. With the rise of cancer atributed to our poisoned food supply which allows chemicals banned in europe, canada, other countries, it is recommended to be cautious of microplastics in our food and drinks, water etc..
I really like Chipoltle however, after seeing them emptying the fresh food out of hot plastic bags, this is very unhealthy.

“Service and quality has improved the last few times I’ve gone. I used to avoid this Chipotle despite being the closest one to my office because of long waits and sad servings, but shelf pick up has improved online orders and the quantity of food seems back to normal. (I also love the Papalote Truck that parks out front)“

There was a tense, audible developmental conversation going on at the grill station between an employee and the supervisor.
It sounded like the staff person was asking questions that irritated the supervisor, who repeatedly used mildly threatening language about write-ups. After the conversation came to an end, the supervisor left the employee at their station and walked around the corner to gossip about them. The supervisor continued to pursue some personal conversation with one of the other employees. There was trash on the dining room floor.
After a few moments, this supervisor engaged in a negative toned conversation about substitutions with a customer.
Overall, a good re-train for the supervisor would probably be a great developmental opportunity. Employees who ask questions are making an effort, even if that seems tedious, and the interaction can be handled in a positive way that benefits the whole room. A constructive coaching conversation is appropriate for an area away from the sales floor. Gossip almost never has positive benefits, especially for leaders, and customer interactions that focus on what can be done will almost always be more satisfying foe everyone. Chances are, the supervisor can take the necessary steps to become an effective leader. They just seem to need some patient guidance.“
“People say this location sucks but if you come right when they open, they give you huge portions and I'm definitely satisfied with the size of my chicken bowl. I had a bite of chicken with every bite and they were generous with the sour cream. It seems every location in Downtown San Francisco has bad reviews so it seems chipotle is falling apart altogether. What a shame as it's simple to prepare their food fresh and serve the right portions. Anyone who experiences some kind of bullshit at any location needs to speak up and let them know that you want your food made right!!!!
Let's get these guys back on track because the chipotle I remember was delicious and well portioned so don't take any order your not happy with and tell them to remake it!!“
“Went here during the lunch rush today. I’ve never been more impressed with a restaurant staff than what I experienced there. They had their system down. It was very fast and efficient. The long line moved within insane speed. I think I was in and out of there and under three minutes.
They did a crazy good job!“
“I gotta say this chipotle had improved so much in operation over the last couple months! I have stopped coming to this location for a while because how overly salty the chicken gets and how the employee was always high. No more! The operation and taste have improved significantly. Keep it up!“
