The sampler plate was impressive: solid hummus, baba ghanoush, etc. ... not sure what the salsa item was, but it was delicious; also the falafel was very good and not dry, like some places fail. The beef and lamb gyro was less impressive but adequate: a bit bland: no onions or pickled vegetables, like I used to get at "Truly Mediterranean ", which spoiled me for life. Went to Hummus today with my husband and we absolutely loved our experience and the food was incredible!!! I was craving a gyro and I got the lamb gyro and the meat was so tender and flavorful and the veggies were crisp and fresh. A perfect gyro! My husband ordered the combo plate with all of the meats, rice, salad and pita and we shared a chipotle hummus. While my gyro was delicious i couldn't help but steal bites off of his plate!! We ordered the house combo and it was very tasty. It came with 4 meats(chicken,beef,gyro ,koftedes). All of the meat was juicy,tender and well seasoned. The rice. was fluffy ans delicious. The mixed green salad had tomatoes amd cucumber and was topped with a pickled cabbage and dressed to perfection. I only had a small bite of the pita because rhe meal was so filling. I can't wait to try the baklava we ordered. What a great find. I will definitely be going back to this restaurant.
