Great experience as always. I haven't been to Marlowe for a while as I moved out of SF. A group of friends/coworkers decided to do a dinner here. All of the food was amazing as always. We had a wide variety of food at the table. Several appetizers including fries, Brussel sprouts, and fritto misto. Entrees included grilled octopus, salmon crudo, scallops, and a couple of burgers. The service did start a little slow, but improved significantly so not worth mentioning.
The food was flavorful and portion sizes were generous. The service was a bit uneven - however the hostess was outstanding: she jumped in to correct my drink order and seemed to be going beyond her duties in assisting the servers, all with a pleasant demeanor.

everything is great except yall gotta do something about the noise level. im 35, so not that old or not that young, but my hearing is generally ok. but wow in marlowe, i have to lean over the table to hear and be heard when it's poppin in there.
