“We had shrimp cocktail, French onion soup, wedge salad, 20 oz ribeye with a baked potato, and a banoffee tart for dessert. We split each course and the waitstaff had the chef plate it all separately for us which made sharing easier.“

“Our experience was incredible! The steaks cooked table side and the accoutrements were out if this world! Our server was very personable answering all of our questions about the food and sharing personal stories of he and his family! Loved it! Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a too notch Korean food experience!“

“I’ve been coming to Izzy’s for 35 years. This was the first time I’ve been back since the remodel 6 months ago. As usual the steaks and sides were fabulous. However, the four of us ordered several glasses of wine and the “pours” were pathetic! I don’t mind paying top dollar for a glass of wine but I don’t appreciate a 1/4 glass of wine that was barely two sips! Don’t try to pay off your remodel expenses by cheap skating your wine pours! “We go to Tad’s regularly and are in love! Their food is exceptional. The hamburger steak breakfast has deep flavor, especially with their glorious beef gravy. I always get extra gravy! Their service matches their food with a positive upbeat vibe. Kitchen staff are regularly singing away, probably because they’re having fun. These are just a few reasons why Tad’s is so successful since the 1950’s! Go there!“

“No frills neighborhood diner that serves a steak meal at the best price you can find! It took a while for us to order, and it’s not tableside service whatsoever, but for ~$25 you get a steak, baked potato, huge plate of salad, and garlic bread. I had their club steak which is a fattier cut compared to the other offerings and asked for it to be medium rare, it ended up being more medium but still good and the fat was charred nicely. My favorite part of the meal was surprisingly the salad which has a ton of ingredients including beets and reminded me a bit of the HOPR salads! Feels like a diner, has other items on the menu too. Definitely a neighborhood gem, would come back again :)“

“Need a great restaurant in Union Square area. You have found it at 63 Ellis St John's. The food is wonderful and the service is great too. Next time I will try the lamb chops. This time I had Shrimp with mushrooms. Enjoyed it very much!“
