As an SJSU alum, I was on campus last week during my visit to San Jose. I came across this jewel of a cafe just right outside the campus. I ordered the croque monsieur and it was spot on. It was tasty and was very fulfilling. For a quaint cafe they have a very diverse menu. My only complaint was that my coffee was a bit acidic and made it taste bitter. Otherwise, I highly recommend this place for a quick lunch if you're near or on campus.
We go here on the weekends. Parking can be tough but is worth it. I really like their sandwiches. My husband likes the turkey bistro on baguette. It’s healthy and uses good quality ingredients. My favorite is the chicken pecan sandwich in croissant. Very creamy and not too sweet. Has apples which give it a nice crunch.
