The menu offers a fantastic variety of fresh, seasonal ingredients, and every dish I’ve tried has been bursting with flavor. What really sets Urban Plates apart is their commitment to quality. The salads are vibrant and crisp, the proteins are cooked to perfection, and I can always count on their delicious, house-made sauces to elevate each meal. The option to customize my plate allows me to explore new flavors while sticking to my dietary preferences. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive, always ready to recommend their favorites. “Amazing service here, went for a dinner at night, and servers were very attentive. Filled drinks, asked if we’re doing okay, brought out orders quick, check if we were ready to order, brought Togo boxes, quick to get the bill, etc. Literally the perfect customer service you can ask for a sit down restaurant.

The menu is very LARGE, lots of options, honestly too many options. Then also it was sad that they don’t have their night happy hour anymore despite it still being on the menu but whatever.

Only feedback is because there menu is so large, a digital barcode menu with pictures would be very useful for customers. Idk if they already have one online, but on the menu or table itself I didn’t see or get any.

Poke Nachos was a 10/10 btw. And then the chicken nachos keep in mind is very worth the value, it is HUGE.“

“Food was excellent! Flat iron steak was done med rare as ordered. Chicken with cranberry sauce and brussels sprouts was perfect. The delicious apple/caramel bread pudding definitely enough to share. The atmosphere is an older converted garage but it is well worth going for the food!

“Wish I lived closer so I could come back sooner. Lunch special is a mini pizza and side salad or cup of soup. Enjoyed everything and excited to have my leftovers later. (Gave 1 less star because the clam chowder was mostly broth but it was delicious)“

“Pizza was fantastic. Thick Detroit style. We tried the Detroit vs Everyone and the Margarita. Both were great, but the Margarita is always the first one to be finished. Pizza slices are big and filling. This place is definitely top 3 in San Jose“

Each dish was a pleasant surprise: beautiful presentation, great quality, innovative and delectable food + some of the best drinks we've ever had in the South Bay! The service was outstanding and we really appreciated the little surprises/gifts from the Chef to cleanse our palettes in between courses. Trails Pub in San Jose is a gem that should not be missed. Whether you're looking for a delicious meal, a relaxed atmosphere, or a great selection of drinks, this place has it all. Nice beers on tap, loved the Smithwicks. My partner had Dragon's Slayer. We wanted to play darts, and you can just request darts from the amazing bartender.

I can't wait to return and try more of their offerings.“

“Came here for a quick brunch bite and was SHOCKED at how good the food was. Fried chicken wasn't heavy—just the right oil temp. And the slaw wasn't drenched in mayo, just a nice clean dressing to accompany crispy potatoes and ribs. I'll definitely be back.“

“What a great find on the last day of our trip to California. The space was beautiful, the staff was great and the food was delicious! The chicken was delicious and filling and fresh. The Cioppino was fabulous!!! The garlic bread that came with it was delicious. I had a green salad to start and it too was excellent. Great glass of Zinfandel. And the flourless almond cake with pineapple and vanilla gelato also delicious. They focus on fresh, quality ingredients. Well done!“

“Great place to watch the game on a Sunday. TV screens are placed everywhere through out.
I was there for lunch on a Sunday. Quite a number of 49ers fans gathered to watching the game.
Service was wonderful. Very welcoming from beginning to the end even though I was a party of one.

“I had the Chicken Mix Bowl with the smokey chipotle sauce and it was AMAZING. I am allergic to dairy, gluten, and soy so being able to not worry about that with my meal was so nice. I also have ARFID (avoidant restrictive food intake disorder) and have a really hard with certain textures, usually chicken is really hard for me to eat but I had no issues with this chicken!! The texture was consistent all the way through, pulled apart really easily, and was just overall amazing. The portions are really good and the food is very flavorful. I'm really happy with my meal. Thank you guys for the amazing food. I highly recommend this place!!“
