I heard it was closing at the end of the month so I wanted to try them before that.It is in a old historical building in Japantown on Jackson Street.Inside you see lots of nice Japanese decor like dolls,paintings,rice bag(?) and a sushi bar.it has a nice local feel to it.They have lunch specials of several sizes,including bento boxes.I had the special with the salmon teriyaki with california roll,salad and rice.The salmon was cooked just right and was juicy and flavorful.The sauce...read full review
My family has been coming here for the past 10 years. The staff is always so friendly and at this point, knows us and always asks where a family member is if they are not with us at dinner. This is also how things are in the Japan town community. The fish is fresh and the soup is delicious. It's always a must go when I visit my family in San Jose

So sad they have closed I think?? We ordered the special bento box with sashimi, teriyaki chicken, soup, salad, rice and this delicious cold tofu! The special $5 unfiltered sake was pretty tasty and strong.
