“My friend recommended this place to me. The place is fairly simple and clean. You order at the counter. There are a few tables for you to dine in, but I find most people order to take out.I like the Simurgh kebab sandwich. The kebabs were delicious but what stood out for me was the Turkish bread. It's not like anything I've had before. It is grilled, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. It is probably my favorite sandwich bread now. They make them all from scratch.I've only been there twice, but it's a place I would return again.“
“Well , to start off I do believe I was the first of the day, so you guys really need to clean the grill a lot better !!! the meat tastes burnt!!! other than that the flavors were there , the pickle the lettuce, yogurt sauce, the dill. The pitas were perfect 10 outta 10 . WAYY SMALL PORTIONS!!! S SIGN OF THE TIMES I GUESS...“
“I recently moved to Union City and this was my first time at the restaurant. Tami was incredibly nice and welcoming towards me. She chatted with me about the area and even made me a little sample plate while I waited. I appreciated her kindness and hospitality. The food was also very good. I got the chicken kabob plate and the hummus. The portions were large enough to make 2 meals. The pistachio pastry dessert was amazing! I will definitely be back“
“Ordered hunkar beyendi, Turkish coffee, and pistachio cake. Hunkar was good, they made the eggplant into a cheese like substance that worked well with the rice. Standout was the cake, delicious! Not too sweet, great with the cream foam on the side. Coffee was like 2 sips and it was gone.“
