“Ordered 3 burgers today and they were super. Flame broiled and made to order is the key to their success. They are what all small franchise less establishments are, family operated. Their delicious burgers made my night and my dogs night. The fries were hot and salty.....yumm.

Walking in don't be fooled while taking in the drab decor. Their prices are super and fixing the place up would make their burgers expensive. Please just keep it the way it is.

Can't believe I've been driving by this place for the last 13 years and never stopped by. This is obviously changing. Forget the fast food burger places, this place takes the cake.

“I haven't been to Wendy's in a long time so I was surprised to see the hamburgers were tiny, the little pieces of bacon were paper thin (I really had to look to find them and didn't taste them at all) and the frosties were not the same frozen treats that took forever to thaw. That's being said, I don't think that's a reflection on the staff who did their job professionally but I don't think I'll be spending my $40 at Wendy's again any time soon“

“I haven’t had a milkshake at Jack in a box for many years . They used to be so good but the one I got today wasn’t good at all. When I tried to drink it nothing would come up in the straw. I took the straw out and sucked the whip cream put . Put it back in and still no ice cream . I got vanilla and I never even tasted vanilla . All it tasted like was whip cream and it wasn’t a good taste . So I paid over $5.00 for a shake with hardly any ice cream in it . If I ever get a shake there again I will ask for no whip cream .“

Only complaint is the food is a little more on the expensive side for me. Loved the kids meal for a smaller meal/snack. Comes with main item, fries, and a drink. We ordered their classic and Shroom and Swiss burgers, which come with 1/2 lb patties and fries, and their cookies and cream shake. The tomato,
lettuce, and onions are also stacked on the side (some people are picky with their veggies). Not the BEST out there, but the value is definitely there!

The owner seems to be all about the community. All of the interactions I witnessed have been positive with people from ALL walks of life. 5 stars from me. Catch y'all on the flip side.“

I ordered my usual favorite, a bacon, cheddar burger. Best I've had in a very long time. It's definitely a chill spot to get away from it all. Seating is limited. Not ideal for groups of 4 or more.

“Ballpark chaser and saw this place and the ratings. Parking was convenient, place was empty but the service was great. We were told they were only doing To-Go orders so they could close early, otherwise they'd get a 5 star review.
Got the double burger all the way with pepper jack and it was absolutely delicious, curly fries were great, regular fries were ok.“

“This is In n Out is a solid example of what you expect from the chain: clean bathrooms, solid food, cheap prices, friendly service.

It does stand out in that it's the only In n Out I've been to with its own security guard. It also has signs in the parking lot about not leaving your valuables in the car. We ate inside the dining room and parked our car where we could watch it.“

“This is my first time to this location. I went with my wife and our daughter on the bus. It is in a great location that is easily accessible by bus. The route 99 bus through ac transit goes to the far corner of the intersection. It is less then half a block to the bus stop in either direction. Inside it is clean, not too busy and the staff are very polite. I would highly recommend this location. Even at dinner time it was not packed like other locations.“

Finally, I had some extra time on my way home, so I stopped in and ordered some food. Very old fashioned establishment that reminded me of a Foster's Freeze. They have plenty of options for food and desserts. I went with the quarter pound bacon cheeseburger and spicy fries. The food came out piping hot and delicious! The price was a little more than I was expecting as the burger, fries, and a drink ran me about $20! I should've grabbed pics of the menu since most of the featured ones are pretty old. I saw a few people eating these ice cream cones that had a mountain of soft serve coming out the top! Definitely need to try one next time. The burger and toppings were super fresh and well cooked. I would've liked my bun toasted a little more. The bacon had a great texture and tasted amazing, not that floppy, thin, tasteless stuff that some burger joints use. The spicy fries were potato wedges with a sort of cajun seasoning that gave them a very slight spice. They were crispy but also pillowy and delicious!Plenty of parking behind the restaurant. “Screens at the entrance to place your order or a live person will take your order at the register. These screens were the easiest to use that I've ever found.

(On occasion I've given up trying to order at McDonalds and Habit because I found their screens too difficult).

I got cesar salad with chicken and avocado added, dressing is served on the side so it doesn't overpower the salad. Crisp fresh lettuce with no wilted bits. I ate about half at the restaurant and the rest at home. Sweet potato fries were very good. I ate all of those later as well. A friend got a basic grilled cheese and it appeared to me that it was prepared correctly.

Chairs make an absurd loud noise. Staff exceptionally professional, got me a bag and to-go lid instantly.

Make sure you TIP THE STAFF. They are hardworking and fast. You can tip on the screens and later, if you find the service to be exceptional (I did) then you can add additional cash to tip jar at the register on your way out

Plenty of clean, easy to use trash cans around. Very bright lights.

Wheelchair accessibility: Floor is smooth cement. I think it would be easy to enter using a wheelchair.“

“Got out of Oakland Zoo and found this place next to a liquor store but the food is deceptively tasteful vs the neighborhood. We order 2 gyros and a lamb bowl. Besides the ample portion, the meats (lamb, steak and chicken) are well marinated and tender. The lamb is not gamy at all. The fries that come with the order are so seasoned such that ketchup would actually ruin it.

Will definitely revisit next time I visit the zoo.“

“At the suggestion of a friend, who grew up here, I decided to drive to Hayward, CA and try a burger place called Val's Burgers. They've been in business since 1958, but like many small Mom & Pop places, Covid restrictions has them almost down and out. They no longer have any dine-in options and will only accept cash.

I spoke with George, the 2nd Generation owner (Val's son) and his daughter. They both had a sad aura about them. Like they're witnessing the last dying breath of a cherished loved one. It broke my heart. Such nice people being run out of business by greedy heartless politicians.

My friend was right, it was the best burger and fries I have had in a very long time. If you're in the area, support these very nice people and have possibly the best burger you've ever eaten.“
