On a short trip to San Luis Obispo, we decided to eat dinner at Shin's Sushi (formerly known as Aisuru Sushi + Sake Bar). The restaurant, located adjacent to the historic Fremont Theater in downtown San Luis Obispo, serves a variety of authentic sushi and Japanese dishes for lunch and dinner (with chopsticks, of course!). Everything was delicious but they were understaffed for how busy they were and still continued to bring more tables outside when they couldn’t handle the amount of tables they already had filled. There was even an employee (not working tonight) that was there with a group of friends that had to leave his dinner to help them handle the amount of tables they had.

The poki Bowl with Yellow tail and cucumber was delightful. My water was refilled a couple of times and the staff was attentive. They kept me informed about the status of my dinner. Yum!
