“ALOH inside Walmart is the only place that understands The true art of a Hawaiian barbecue!! Their Homemade macaroni salad my go to and it seems like other places I went over to the new Hawaiian barbecue place next to Starbucks off of East Valley Parkway they can’t get the salad right honey. I’m so sorry I tried and I tried. I’d rather drive a little bit further and go over here and get it some real Hawaiian macaronisalad and not something that comes in a jar or too much juice OK God bless y’all.“

“The food is fantastic. I came here with my two kids. My son wanted Subway before coming here, but the owner insisted on him trying his food so gave us a taster for my son while my daughter fully enjoyed her amazing steak and rice. You can’t beat the hospitality here, true aloha vibes and great food.“

“About two weeks ago, I went to some Hawaiian barbecue for the first time and I didn’t even know who Hawaii barbecue was a thing and they gave me mac & cheese and the thin steak thing and it was so good. It was amazing that on the car ride home I even ate my leftovers and they had five stars. I don’t know the name now this place I was trying to relive that experience and they had 4.7 stars so I was thinking Man they’d be really good but their menu was very bland and they didn’t even have mac & cheese or the thin steak thing. A solid spot for a good poke bowl I wouldn't say it's like the poke in Hawaii But the fish is fresh and delicious, They have a lot of delicious sauce options and a great variety of toppings! to make this place perfect for me personally it would be great for them to add a cucumber noodle base for the bowls, cucumber miso sauce And a truffle ponzu would be top notch! However that's just what would make it perfect for me. It's a great place and I will be back, definitely worth checking out!“

“BBQ chicken would taste better if the skin was removed macaroni salad was pretty good. The healthier plate of BBQ chicken was supposed to come with side of green salad but upon receiving the order it turned out that they don’t carry it. It looked pretty appetizing on the picture menu. “We travel throughout California to visit our ʻohana and spend time at the theme parks with our na moʻopuna. Carlsbad is one of those places we return to a few times a year, always fun to explore.
After a long day at Legoland, we were exhausted and hungry. I was craving for some onolicious Hawaiian plate lunch, and if I had to be honest, that can be so risky on the continent. Some places that make Hawaiian food are not always the greatest, although Yelp or other platforms say they are. So, it's really scary, but I am glad we took the chance and ordered through DoorDash because we were also too tired to drive. And OMG, what a surprise.
From the very first bite, it felt like home. The rice was perfect, but the mac salad? HEAVEN...And the BBQ chicken was so soft, tender, juicy, and seasoned just right. You could taste the paʻakai, that unmistakable Hawaiian salt, hitting the palate in the best way.
Mahalo nui loa to Ohana Hawaiian BBQ for bringing authentic meaʻai to the continent. You gave us comfort when we needed it the most.

“Catered my graduation party. Food was AMAZING. It was so good my guests didn't leave any for me to take home. Authentic Hawaiian food at it's best!“

“OMG soooo good! We came in for lunch around 1130 on Sunday, it was just starting to fill up with what looked like locals. The young man behind to counter was so sweet, big smile, he greeted us immediately, and was helpful and polite throughout our visit. I ordered the kalua pork, my go-to order whenever I can find it. My husband said he thought it was better than L&L, I totally agree. It was amazing, mouthwatering, so flavorful, and the portion was so big we both shared some for lunch and dinner. My husband ordered the cheese burger and fries, the burger was freaking delicious. I would go back for the burger alone, it was so impressive. The fries were shoestring, crispy and perfectly fried. Everything came out of the kitchen hot, fresh and quick! The restaurant is in a shopping center full of stores. Inside it's a bright, cute, little corner shop in a great location next to the theater. We are already planning our next dinner and a movie here.“

“This is the place!!! We eat here couple times a week. Love the bbq and katsu chicken, it’s always perfect!! Try the gravy on the katsu, life changer. Garlic shrimp is life, Teri beef and musubi make my family happy. The Mac salad is 10/10 and the staff cares about your experience! So lucky to have this in our neighborhood!! Malasadas, Lumpia, fried chicken skin!! Let’s go to L and L 🤩🌟 eat the Kalua with cabbage, yum!!! I’ve cheesecake and Hawaiian juice all the flavors❤️“
