“Had a yummy lunch at Chinese Korean fusion restaurant CHIKO. We sat on the dog friendly patio where you order through QR codes on the table. We ordered the XO shrimp, spicy kumin lamb stir fry, and pork belly bao. The staff is very friendly and helpful and the food comes out quick. Recommend, not many Asian fusion restaurants in the area.“
“Generally reluctant to get Asian food outside of Kearny Mesa but I was pleasantly surprised! Ordered the stone pot with beef and a side of kimchi. The bowl was well balanced with all the veggies and having the option to additionally season your bowl is nice. I will say that it does come with an absolute minimal serving of protein (maybe 2 or 3 oz total) in the bowl and $4 for a tiny side of kimchi is a bit outrageous (total serving size pictured), but can't deny that it was delicious. I'd prefer to go to Kearny but if I was around the area and craving bibimbap, it's a decent option.“
“I enjoyed a wonderful lunch here today! The garlic edamame is extremely tasty and was a perfect appetizer to a delicious deep fried Philadelphia roll! I chose this roll because I love Pennsylvania and cream cheese, so it's a win-win . The roll was the bomb.com! . Sky sushi is a brilliant name for a restaurant because most everyone loves looking up at the sky and being grateful for the beautiful tapestry God makes for us every day! “We decided to stop in on a Thursday night for some sushi. We have been on the hunt for a new place since moving from Hawaii; it's very tough to find a place that isn't mostly crabbed based rolls. To say the least, we will be back. Sushi was great and reasonably priced. The extra options such as the bento box was delicious. Service was good and they seemed to have many to go orders. Special only has one dumpling and one shrimp and cheese added on top.I got the large chicken boneless with garlic sauce on the side, and the fried chicken was soooo crispy. All of this took 10 minutes to come out at 6:30 pm on a saturday!!!This and the special ddeokbokki was perfect portions for me and my parents. Prices were completely reasonable too. “Kangnam KBBQ is simply great. They have almost all of the items you would expect from a KBBQ spot and more. The entire restaurant is very well maintained, the waiting area is small but nice, they also have a bar that you can visit while you wait if you want.There is a ton of seating to accommodate small and large parties alike. It's a great place to bring your family for a fun dinner adventure. The menu naming convention is a little confusing since both options seem like they are the best version. Not a problem, just look at the menus and pick the one that has what you want to eat.The quality of the meats is excellent. Even the simple things like brisket are top-notch quality. The portion of rice that you get every order is smaller than you would expect. The salad is a little bland and not really for using as a lettuce wrap with the BBQ, but still very enjoyable. They offer a bunch of veggies to grill as well.Lastly, the service is the quickest out of any restaurant visited in a long time. The whole operation is well staffed, timely, and polite. It's small but noticeable. There is plenty of parking nearby as well as wheel chair accessible parking. There are curb ramps right up to the sidewalk as well.Vegetarian options: If you had to, there are plenty of tasty things you can have here. You will be surrounded by animal products.Dietary restrictions: You can find something for almost every diet.Parking: Lots of parking. “Super fun experience, I've never had Korean BBQ in a restaurant like this before. Not bad for a first time visit. I'm a pescatarian so my dishes were somewhat limited. The seafood offerings are great don't get me wrong. I was with family and it was a wonderful experience overall. The bulgogi, baby octopus, chicken, beef, sides were tasty?, everyone had a great time we were there for like 2hrs?, we have a big family. Corn cheese... get it!!“
