“This is a restaurant I found while on a business trip. The ramen is seasoned well and tastes better than what I ate when I studied abroad in Japan. There are a lot of them. If there's one thing that's disappointing, it's that the noodles aren't fresh, but the owner was very kind, and I'd like to visit again if I get the chance. From Korea to Japan“
“We love Korean Bbq!. Love this location. It's so much more open than their other location in Chula Vista. The vents are amazing that you barely smell any smoke. You never leave smelling like Korean bbq. The service was excellent. The kids loved the robots. We will definitely be back“
“Okay the food is really tasty and full of flavor. The atmosphere is okay younger crowd. The wings were fire. I was blown away by the drumsticks tender, juicy, and flavorful. I was slightly taken aback by the prices but considering we are in America, deal with it!“
“Food here is always great. The family meal will feed a family of 6 easily. One recommendation I would make to the establishment is to use the plastic boxes to go. The last 2 times I have ordered, the Kalua pork will go through the cardboard box by the time I get home.“
“Located at the food court in Plaza Bonita Westfield mall in National City. Review is solely for the corn dog and fries as we did not try the chicken! We ordered: premium sausage corndog - delish! I know they recommend sugar on their corndogs but, I rather have without now that I did get the sugar. Spicy cheddar sauce, spicy ranch sauce, onion garlic powder, and parmesan powder were my choices of condiments and they were a great choice to compliment the corndog. strawberry lemonade slushy - tangy and delicious. potato trio corndog - half cheese and half dog, NOT A FAN! bacon cheddar fries - AMAZING! Super crunchy out and soft inside type of fries. They are not skimpy on the cheese sauce neither. I would skip the bacon though and just have cheese fries. We would definitely order the premium dog minus the sugar next time and definitely the cheese fries and slushy!“
“Food was delicious! I ordered the lemon pepper wings, bulgogi fries and kimchi fried rice. All ! Service was excellent. Alayna was our server and she was super friendly and helped us with the menu and recommendations since it was our first time there.“
“Prices are reasonable, and you can find most Asian foods. Japanese food is often cheaper than at nearby Japanese supermarkets, so it might be a good idea to shop here first, and if there's something they don't have, go to another store.“
“I walked in around 12:30pm on Sunday. I was seated in about 5 minutes. There's a bell that you can ring to get the server's attention. They responded very quickly. I ordered gukbap and it was very flavorful and rich. Surprisingly, banchan was also very good. Often times Korean restaurants make their banchan too sweet or too bland. But here all the food was very satisfying. I am very picky about Korean food, but I highly recommend this place. Staff were nice and food came out relatively fast.“
“When you walk into the Spoon House, it's like stepping into a cozy yet chic little world. It's one of those places that instantly makes you feel at ease and excited about the meal to come. Right from the get-go, the staff makes you feel welcome. They're not just doing their jobs; they clearly love what they do, and they're super keen on making your experience memorable. Now, let's talk about the food. The menu might seem like it's straight to the point, but each dish tells a story of creativity and passion for flavors. The chef has this incredible knack for taking simple, good-quality ingredients and turning them into something absolutely magical.Their signature pasta dish is something you won't forget. It's cooked just right – that perfect middle ground where it's not too hard and not too soft. The sauce, though, is where the magic really happens. It's rich, heartwarming, and luxurious, all while making the ingredients shine. And if you're wondering about drinks, their wine selection is on point. It feels like each wine has been handpicked to go perfectly with your meal, whether you're in the mood for something bold or something a bit lighter. In short, dining at Spoon House is an experience you don't want to miss. It's not just about good food and wine; it's about feeling right at home, in the hands of people who genuinely care about giving you an unforgettable meal.“
“I love manna. It's my preferred kbbq spot. I love all the sides and salads and additional options. I love their table set up and how efficient the service is. It's seriously always a good time. I went last night for the 100th time and it was just as great. Jason was our server and he seriously crushed it. He was always around to get us another side, napkin, water - whatever we needed. Not to mention the music they play in there is a serious vibe for girlies who do the little dance when you start eating. It's a real vibe and as always - I'll definitely be back.“
“I recommend lemon jin if you don't like the taste of alc but still want to drink alc. I personally thought it just tasted like soda, so I didn't like it much. Ddeokbokki is good, nothing special. I ordered crispy soy half and signature sauce half. The portions are bigger than I thought. The food was very good. It's a good drinking place : )“
“Oh my baGawk!Their chicken is soo ridiculously good. And that's coming from a vegetarian that had their crispy plant tenders. Pair it with their house salad and a beer and you'll be set! I look forward to eating here whenever we're around one of their 3 locations because they never disappoint! It's the only place where my very carnivorous bf and I can comfortably eat a full crispy chicken meal with our toddler , who is now also a huge fan.Vegetarian options: Plant based tenders in multiple sauce/flavor options , sides , saladsKid-friendliness: Outdoor shaded, enclosed patioWheelchair accessibility: Out door patio“
“I eat here every week after church, because it’s delicious! But my only complaints are that the mall atmosphere isn’t that great and that they take quite some time to give you yours order. I understand that since they have to cook them right when ordered, but when you’re ordering just a single corn dog, you get quite impatient if you wait for 10 minutes just for a single item. I would love to give this place 5 stars because the food is toooooooo good, but they should look into having the place somewhere else that isn’t the mall, just so at least if we have to wait for the order, it’s in a much peaceful and nice spot“
“Food was EXCELLENT!!! We were a group of 3, we each ordered appetizers and entrees. IT WAS ALOT OF FOOD!!! Some items we ordered wished we could have had an explanation of how to eat it. Our server was friendly and the drinks were great as well! We were lucky enough to get there early and was able to get a karaoke room. There are only two, so you could be on a wait list. The room was $40 with a min of 1 hour, and I believe they start charging after every 10 minutes! Overall a fun time!!!“
“11/4/23 - I did a phone order for a pick up. Ordered almost $90 of food to sample all the chickens and a few sides. I was told to drop by in 25 min. I was down the street and paid and waited just 10 minutes. Lots of food to bring back. We had a taste off in everything. Negative- onion rings were very breaded and not much actual onion inside. Positive- onion rings were very crunchy and not soggy or grease. Everyone liked all the chicken and every person had their own favorites. No duplicates which was odd. Chicken was hot and good. I didn't know the small check bites came with fries. The dumplings were good and the sauce which it came with was adequate. Overall 5 stars. Lovely cash register person again and the same as the other day. Everything was well packed. Lots of leftovers. Check out these photos.“
“I’ve been to Shabumi two times now, once to try the KBBQ option and the other time to try the hotpot option. Both times I went during lunch time so there wasn’t a wait, though it might be a different story if I went during the busy dinner hours. Because it was lunch time, the price was pretty reasonable, not sure how I’d feel paying for the dinner prices though.I really like that each person can choose between one or the other, that the table doesn’t have to choose just one. I also really liked that it’s individual grill/pot so you can individually choose ingredients/spice level. For KBBQ, I ordered the chuck eye steak, beef belly, beef bulgogi, and galbi. My favorite from these are the belly and bulgogi. You can order three meats at a time and they’re pretty quick with bringing out orders. For hot pot, I ordered black Angus chuck tender, prime chuck eye, beefy belly, and brisket point. The meat was pretty good quality and looked/tasted fresh. My friends and I chose the chicken soup base since it was the recommended one with the most flavor. I wish they offered a spicy soup base, but you’re able to make your own sauce at the bar.The salad bar was packed with lots of choices for noodles, seafood, vegetables, and other sides to add to your pot. I really liked the Japchae for their side dish too.Service was quick and the servers were attentive both times.Overall, I’d come back here again for lunch time.Parking: The restaurant shares a parking lot with Target and other restaurants. There’s plenty of parking, depending on what time of the day you go“
“As an old Korean restaurant, Jeonju House's steamed monkfish and steamed seafood are really delicious and simple, and it's a place I visit often.Jeonju Jip, a restaurant with lots of delicious food that’s perfect for a glass of soju or a beer!! really good“
“Been coming here for a few years now, the front staff is always friendly and attentive. My go to is the whole white chicken bowl With white rice, veggies and onions. It always comes out out fresh and tasty. The magic sauce is the bomb! Hats off and I'm glad they are nearby and not having to drive to mission valley“
“Located on the side of Liberty Public Market in the beer hall area is BOPJO. I got the veggie bibimbap bowl. Huge portion and so delicious. The only thing I'd change is the amount of sauce. The rice at the bottom needed more sauce as I worked my way down. The service was super fast. And I will definitely try more items next time!“
“We were doing some shopping at H Mart and got hungry so afterwards we stopped by ZZanG Hot Dog. So many choices! But we ultimately ended up going with 3 options: the Squid Ink (mozzarella cheese and sausage inside), Mozza Sausage (half mozzarella cheese and half sausage inside) and lastly the Cheddar Mozza Sausage (mozzarella cheese and sausage with cheddar cheese). Everything was really good, I didn’t like the Squid Ink as much but my partner really liked it.“
“It's just a corn dog....but it'll be the best corn dog you'll ever have! They offer a unique twist to the standard corn dog by having multiple toppings/ingredients to choose from. For the other vegetarians/vegans out there they have cheese fillings (like a chunk of cheese) and a plant based sausage (my go-to) that tastes great. For the toppings I've only tried the potato/hot Cheeto. Hands down my favorite item is the kimchi fries. Service is great/quick. Hopefully the next step is to have more options and to not be located right next to a playground filled with kids that are coughing and sneezing everywhere.TLDR - Surprisingly good mall food!“
“I ordered the Jjajangmyeon Tangsuyuk combo on Doordash. The price was really good and was a big portion. I asked for uncooked noodles as well and the noodles were super fresh and chewy. I wish the noodles had more meat and the pork was kinda tough. Overall, would order again“
“Great experience. The food was excellent. Our server Anthony did a great job helping us out today. Service was quick and got us everything we needed. They're very reliable. The setting is very nice. If you're looking for a place with a relaxing environment without being too quiet or too loud this is the place to go.“
“Excellent. Crispy and moist inside. Rice batter wow. Crunch in every bite. And have to also mention the garlic honey sauce. Ask for an extra it’s tasty and goes perfectly with their chicken. Coming back. Friend shared some with me last week and I had to come and get my box and will be back. Best in the South “
“Between price, quality, and quantity - Sushi Kuchi just makes sense! Most rolls are 50% off!I used to live in PB and now live in Mission Valley - I've been lucky to have a Sushi Kuchi conveniently located during both locations!Service is quick! Some of my top favorite rolls are: For tempera - stars wars roll, the warmth and cream cheese is the best combo!. For raw - Hawaiian Roll and Dragon Roll. Overall they have a pretty impressive large menu - WITH PHOTOS (I know that's helpful when places have creative names and you're not sure what to really expected based on the description). My only annoyance is sliced lemons cost $1, this must be a commonly asked thing because the location in Mission Valley started to post signs on there walls stating this. For disclosure - I love to squirt lemon on my sushi ,it brings out the flavors! But don't worry, no additional cost for extra sauces, ginger or wasabi! The vibe in PB is alot more young, fun, loud, busy, and live. The one is mission valley and get quiet busy as well but the vibe is a bit more relax. PB location is definitely alot tighter; traditionally sized sushi spot. The location in mission valley is much larger and has a nice outdoor patio. There's a tablet in the front "to add yourself to the waitlist" although I've never really waited more than 5-7minutes.“
“Unassuming enough that I would have otherwise overlooked it, I tried this place because it was close to my hotel and had good reviews. I was so pleased that I went back again the next night. The teriyaki chicken was delicious, was ready really quick and the serving was generous enough to satisfy the appetite I had after cycling all day. On top of that, the prices were reasonable and the staff courteous and helpful.. I’ll be back the next time I’m in San Diego.“
“Love getting their jjajangmyeon (black bean noodle) and tang su yuk (deep fried pork with sweet & sour sauce)! It's a classic duo to get. If you happen to get it as a take-out and you have the fire noodle hot sauce on hand, add some to your noodles and it will take it to a whole other level!“
“Food: Tasty. I've dined here 3 times so far. Assorted Tofu stew ( seafood and meat), Galbi, fried chicken, kimchi fried rice, japchae are my favorite and can't wait to try other dishes in the future. Their banchan is good too. Great customer service. Restaurant is clean and their decor reminds me of some of the restaurants I've seen on TV. ;)“
“Came here with my family for lunch after previously having visited the other Manna location in the Plaza Bonita mall. I'd say they're quite even in terms of meat quality, price, menu items, and service. The meats were delicious, the service was quick, and we definitely felt like we got our bang for our buck! Definitely recommend coming here if you're in the Chula Vista area and want all-you-can-eat Korean BBQ.“
“Just had a quick meals with my boss. OMG, I didn't expect too much but I was very surprised and overwhelmed by the quality of the dishes and taste. By the way, great services comes in no charge. Must visit place if uou are in San Diego.“
“I thought this place was permanently closed for the longest time until I realized it just shared the same space as the soondoobu place "next door." The Tteokbokki tastes pretty good although heavy on the pepper flavor, and the spam mayo bowl is good too (just literally spam, mayo, and seaweed). I like that the tteokbokki here is actually spicy. They need to update the menu posted outside the restaurant because it has old prices. $16 for tteokbokki seems so expensive when considering this is basically no-frills street food. I'd have liked to try some of the fried food on the menu but it's prohibitively expensive. The portion and price point is why I'm docking stars. I give this place a 3.5/5 but rounded up because I want to support these local Korean businesses.“
“We visited 356 on 11/20 for dinner. I was there for all of five minutes, had one bite of Caesar salad, and went to the bathroom to throw up. I had food poisoning from a different restaurant and had to be brought home. My friend drove me home while her husband waited at the table. They still charged us for three dinner meals although I did not eat. I think this is extremely disappointing and I have never experienced a restaurant that had a policy like this. Too bad considering I was visiting SD and my friends come here once a month…“
“My husband and I were on our way back to San Diego from Coronado Island, craving some Hawaiian fare. After a quick search, we found Homestyle Hawaiian located in Midway Point Loma--perfectly on our route. Although it took about 35 minutes to get our food, it was absolutely worth the wait. We indulged in the chicken katsu--crispy, golden, and smothered in a delectable katsu sauce, accompanied by a creamy macaroni salad and fluffy rice. We didn't stop there. We also tried the regular spam musubi, the Portuguese spam musubi, and the deep-fried spam musubi, each more scrumptious than the last. We can't wait to return! A special shout-out to the staff, who were not only friendly but also exceptionally attentive, making our wait feel shorter with their great service. Just be prepared for a bit of a wait, but trust me, the food and the warmth of the service make it well worth it.“
“Consistently delicious & nutritious, packed with an array of flavors, and super satisfying even on a Friday night when eating healthy isn’t a priority! Lastly, we order through their website directly as it tends to be a bit cheaper and we always have the most efficient and friendly experiences.Dietary restrictions: Love the wide array of options for those who are gluten-intolerant or dairy-free, yet highly appealing to both meat eaters as well as vegans! I love meat, but I don’t necessarily want it daily :)“
“This food is goooooood. I order the tofu soup and short rib combo. It ends up being pretty pricey, but the short rib is seasoned well, and the tofu soup hits the spot. It's more affordable with other combos. Been here multiple times, I'm sure I'll be back again. Busy restaurant, but never had to wait too long. Casual sit down, there's always a couple tvs playing mukbangs.“
“i rarely give great reviews here but this one was one of the best customer service and finger foods we ever tried. Will definitely be coming back and will try other flavors. kudos to the owner for saying hi and a very warm welcoming approach to us and to other customers.고맙습니다“
