“Good food (we had the green papaya salad and the pad kee mao, both excellent). Had we known that the pad kee mao didn't come with tofu we would have asked for it, so next time we will, but that's nitpicking. Very fast service, noticeably so. Location great for those in San Mateo or Foster City (and this restaurant is much better in my mind than Sweet Basil, I'm sorry). The pad kee mao dish was huge and we had to take home half of each plate (we got two, next time one will be enough, but we took it home and plan to enjoy later)“

“Relaxing and modern ambiance to the restaurant. Super friendly service for an enjoyable experience. Hidden gem outside the hustles of the downtown area of San Mateo. The dishes were fresh and well presented. Ordered the Tom Yun Shrimp noodles and Keema Curry Rice. Nice Japanese infusion of flavors and techniques on South East Asian regional dishes. Can get pretty busy during lunch rush. We got there at 1:45pm and beat the rush.“

“Excellent food served by volunteers who are part of this wonderful monastery. This is a nonprofit organization. You can also go in and meditate. The food is delicious. The volunteers are kind and helpful. They accept Venmo or cash donations for the food. Outdoor seating available. Extensive menu. Pork and Thai coffee was delicious!!!“

“I’m Thai and my family was in the restaurant business so I know Thai food. Our group of over 10 people dined here today. Food was great. It was a team event so we requested a prix fixe menu and budget control. The restaurant was very responsive and go above and beyond to help us with the arrangements. The menu options was good. We had some vegans in the group and vegan options were good too. Everyone in my team loved it. Thank you for a wonderful evening!“

“I didn’t know they open for breakfast. I had sunnyside up eggs, fresh salad and Croissant. And I ordered DoorDash for dinner the other day. My favorite is coconut soup with a tofu. I went there with my sister again today. The owner was very friendly. I love her always smiling. The curry potato puff was so yummy. I will definitely go back to try some other stuff.“

“Food was absolutely delicious and flavorful! Got the Panang curry with chicken and the Tom Kha Seafood. Only complaint is that they barely put any seafood in there, so save your money and go with a different add-in or just plain instead. Will order again, one of my new favorite soups!“

“This was a last minute find - Thai food is always a great option, but this place raised the bar tenfold. Atmosphere is welcoming and warm. The service was great, friendly, and fast. The Food. Omg the food was a pleasant surprise, tasteful, great flavor and reasonably priced. I definitely recommend you visit AT LEAST once well worth it. Thai Nakorn is our new favorite Thai spot. Thank you for a great meal.“

“We visited Siamese kitchen yesterday for dinner. Spring rolls were good not oily. Pad kee maw was spicy and flavourful. Coconut ice cream was good too. The dishes were a little pricey but may be because of inflation.Overall service was quick and good,tasty food and nice ambience.“

“10/10 no notes, jk. It can feel small and cramped for a bit once you enter, but once u settle in, it’s comforting and an enjoyable place to dine.
Got the pad see ew, yellow curry, and crispy pork fried rice. Pad see ew 10/10 no notes, yellow curry an 8, the fried rice is a 9.5.
100/10 would come again. Reasonably priced, monies worth and bellies full. 🤭😋😋“
