“This was my first visit to Donut King, a breakfast spot known for its sandwiches, donuts, and drinks. I stopped by in the morning after dropping off the kids at school. The parking lot is a bit small, and there were only one or two spots left when I arrived, but I managed to find a space without too much trouble.
Upon entering, the place seemed a bit dated, which initially made me hesitant. However, I was pleasantly surprised by their menu. While it’s nicely laid out, I do wish they offered a broader selection of donuts. The donuts they did have, though, turned out to be pretty good – flavorful and fresh. I tried a couple and was impressed enough to consider buying more in the future.
Aside from donuts, I also ordered a sausage, egg, and cheese croissant. It was actually quite good, with the croissant being perfectly flaky and the filling satisfying. This item alone makes me want to come back and try more of their breakfast sandwiches.
Overall, despite the minor issues with parking and the dated decor, Donut King offers a solid breakfast experience. Their donuts and sandwiches are worth a visit, and I’m eager to explore more of their menu. I would strongly recommend giving this place a try if you're in the area and looking for a good breakfast stop.“

“I go here for their croissants!!!! I'm a croissant lover. And as we know they aren't that cheap. Many places are charging you up to $5 for ONE croissant!. Well I went to try Lee's and I've haven't gone anywhere else whenever I'm in the mood for my carb treat. First their croissants are HUGE secondly, they're only $3.75! Depending on how you like you're croissants but this place for me are the best. They're not very flaky and a little doughy but I love that. As far a doughnuts I've only had their doughnut holes which were soft and fresh. And they were cheap for the dozen compared to all the other donut shops I've gone too! So if you want your money's worth I recommend coming here!“

“My boyfriend and I were checking out stiiizy, we were headed home and wanted some food. We stopped in because of the outside charm, the owners I believe might be husband and wife, anywho we got doughnuts, their lunch special of burger fries n a drink, plus a bacon egg n cheese bagel ( biggest bagels I have ever seen)
We don't live in El Cerrito, so it was nice to see something that has been around for almost 40 years. Bless you both, we will be stopping by again
Voted best doughnuts in El Cerrito I can see why.“

“Stopped for breakfast one morning; what a delight! Tasty filling on a scrumptious bagel. The sight of all the donuts and pastries had us vowing to return. Which we did, scoring a box of various donuts and pastries and the biggest croissants I’ve ever seen. Definitely worth a return visit.“

“I try to give credit where credit is due. When it comes to pastries, I’ve yet to experience one that stands out among the rest. That is until I walked my happy self into Happy Donuts. I would have taken a picture of what I ordered but they were so moist and delicious it was gone before I knew it! It seems to be a husband wife Braun and Brain power duo running the place, playing their parts seamlessly. There were two aromas here; fresh clean and fresh baked! I’m not from here but I’m glad I made the detour. It was well worth it! PURPLE YAM!! They have a purple yam donut. The coffee cake donut will make you want coffee as an excuse to get the donut. It’s delicious in its own though. It’s worth saying more about HOWEVER, I need to devour this glazed donut! You can always tell how great they are if they have good specialty and standard donuts. I was told they have multiple locations however I recommend to is one. It was worth the drive.“

“Best vegan donut in the Bay Area! I was introduced to Pepple's via their cake donuts at cafes like Philz, which are outstanding, but their raised donuts are what really take the cake! The texture is spot on and my non-veg husband didn't put together that they were vegan until he saw me eat one! (They also do not skimp on the filling in the jelly donut, mine was bleeding raspberry jam as I ate it, LOL. Get a napkin!) The new Adeline location is small and geared towards pickup only (no seating, so I guess no more brunch). Bring cash with you as a backup, as when I was there their internet was down (even hotspotting wasn't working) and the kind lady behind the counter mentioned that this has been a recurring issue with this new space, so don't show up with only plastic in your wallet! Right now, the location is easy to miss as there's still paper up in some of the windows etc. but I am looking forward to returning for more phenomenal donuts! I hope they start offering their raised donuts all the time instead of just Friday, Saturday, and Sunday!“

“Omg best corndogs(the potato original and cheese and a bit of sugar dusted ?) I’ve ever had in my life and it was very reasonable priced. Also their strawberry ? lemonade with popping boba pearls is just ? Milk tea is delicious too. The young lady working the register is very nice and patient with you while ordering. I’ve yet to try their mochinuts but they look beautiful and delicious! It is small inside so you may want to avoid the time all the school kids gets out. Otherwise it’s super cute and very clean inside. My family and I are so happy they’re in our community and look forward to eating there very soon!
Kid-friendliness: It’s super cute inside and they have lots of sweet or savory options for kids and teens.“

“Its a small shop, and i was amazed there are a lot of people going to this place. I was curious, so i tried it. Their donuts were good, and very affordable, the sprinkled one go for 1.50 for the small ones and 1.75 for the big ones. Not so bad. I also ordered their blended coffee with whipped cream, not bad..😊
Customer service was great, the couple were nice..service was fast too.😊“

“When I went they had two vegan options, a blueberry glaze donut and a plain donut. I went for blueberry, and it was so much better than I expected! I generally prefer a lighter donut and thin glaze. This one was denser with a thicker glaze, but was objectively really great! Would recommend! Updated from previous review on 2025-02-28“
“Lee's Donuts is a rare find, and I can’t stop recommending it! Not only do they serve some of the lightest, fluffiest donuts at unbelievably affordable prices, but they also have a mouth-watering range of other foods that keep you coming back. Their Oreo and M&M milkshakes are to die for—rich, creamy, and packed with flavor!
What's amazing is that they also offer Chinese food, meatballs, veggies, fried fish, chow mein, and fries, all perfectly cooked and insanely delicious. It’s like having several top-tier restaurants in one! And to top it off, the people at the counter are so warm and welcoming; they make you feel right at home. If you’re anywhere near Lee's Donuts, you have to stop by—you’re in for a treat!
Parking: There isnt alot of parking, but people come in and out alot, so you will get a spot withim 1 and a half minutes.“

“I've stopped by here a few times and it's been an interesting experience. I've only got breakfast food so I can't speak on the other options but overall it is a good establishment with good pricing. There aren't many options at a similar price point in the area but the food I did get wasn't the best quality but it wasn't terrible. It did mess my stomach up a bit but was worth it.“
“I’m not a coffee maven, but the tea and sweets were excellent. (My friends who appreciate good coffee say that it’s excellent as well.) Good service, even in the face of an exacting clientele.“

“The donuts are fresh, fluffy and melt in your mouth. Randomly ordered from here on UberEats expecting average but finding exceptional! So many donut places with stale product… not here! I had the donut holes, coconut glazed donut and croissant… all excellent, will order again!“
