“This place is in a beautiful marina with a beautiful view for a lobby restaurant. Our server was extra friendly and checked on us often. I wish I could remember his name!! You could tell he really cared about the service the customer receives!! The food is decent just not sure it's worth the price. It is very pricey for what you get. The crispy chicken sounded so good but ended up being very bland. The soup was good and the fish and chips were ok. Overall a beautiful atmosphere! a few flies wouldn't leave our table but we did sit by the door. Plenty of parking.”

“So much to say… but ultimately, Colossus in Long Beach is WONDERFUL!! The BEST BLT I’ve ever had. Because they use high quality ingredients! Their Soft-Scrambled Egg Toast is divine. And everything is beautifully fresh. I love their country bread, baguettes, olive cumin bread, dinner rolls… but I have so much more to try Their pastries are scrumptious: Pecan Sticky Bun, Cardamom Bun, Kouign Amann, Financier, Marzipan Croissant, Sea Salt Brownie, OG Chocolate Chip Cookie. It’s all amazing and I’ve brought a number of friends to show off this incredible Belmont Shore Bakery. On Friday nights Colossus serves pizza into the night. Again, high-quality ingredients make their pizzas delicious. Plus they have interesting and unique combinations. They are tip free because their starting wage is $21/hr. Great customer service. Cute little space with some lovely specialty spice mixes, food items, merch, and wine. Indoor and outdoor seating, and they serve tasty coffees and teas. Colossus feels like a little bit of Europe on 2nd Street.”

“Since I'm a very picky Japanese food eater, I tend to avoid anything that might be Japanese where it's not 100% Japanese. That said, I do enjoy the Thai food here. It's decent and filling. The staff are polite and I like it because it's in walking distance for me.

I have tried some Japanese-ish food like the lobster rolls or teriyaki chicken. Those dishes weren't bad if you consider them more California Asian cuisine. The prices are what you might expect these days for a spot like this. They do have lunch time specials so I think those are worth making the trip if you're in the area and want some decent Thai etc or something different.”

“Always good. Usually order barbacoa or carne asada. But once in awhile I get huevos ranchero's or steak tampiqueno. All are very good! My husband loves the carnitas and my friend always gets the chicken tortilla soup. Service is very pleasant and quick.”

“Five stars for the best customer service I have ever experienced...family owned and operated they make sure to let every customer know their business is appreciated...They will even give you potatoe nuggets to snack on while you decide what you want to order. I recommend the fried chicken, gumbo, and jalapeno poppers. You can even order a deep fried turkey for home during holiday season which is superb.”

“Yesterday while working across the street I decided to try this place. Is pretty small with about 8 tables enough for 20 people or more and nough to enjoy breakfast or lunch. Now many people have food to go. Wide variety of options to choose from. I had teriyaki chicken with shrimp . The lady who was there is very friendly and my order came out very fast the price is super reasonable for the size of the meal and most importantly it was really tasty. Definitely have to go again if I'm nearby.”

“This is a small and neat Mexican restaurant in San Pedro. The restaurant is not large and can only accommodate 5-6 dining tables. Since there is only one owner in the kitchen responsible for cooking, we had to wait for a long time after placing the order, but it is not inappropriate. The quality of the food is excellent. For example, the beans are very delicious. Although the portion per plate is not as large as expected, our family is still very satisfied after the meal. There are many similar small restaurants in the San Pedro community. Every time we come here, we basically enjoy it and love the laid-back atmosphere of this place. I hope everyone can come here more often. Hope you enjoy it too!”

“Un lonchera que vende tacos riquisimos, if ever you find yourself in San Pedro California, stop by this Lonchera on 17th and Pacific and try one of each of their tacos with an agua fresca and please try and enjoy your order in their parking lot so you can savor their homemade salsas, the customers are amazing and outgoing, Ive been enjoying their tacos for alot of years and everytime I stop by, I am received with a huge smile and amazing customer service, also theirs some amazing food and drink items that are offered for a limited time, please keep an eye for those, este lugarcito es puro amor.

Maria's Mexican Restaurant is also having fresh juices (using freshest ingredients like carrots or beets) and agua frescas (pina, horchata, jamaica: pineapple or rice milk or red hibiscus) with also hot chocolate or desserts (churros, flan, cheesecake). Good for dine in, takeout, or delivery. No public restrooms though.”

Menudo was my favorite! Idk how they make their beans but they are delicious! The burger was really good and the tacos look plain but they were flavorful and meat was soft. The capirotada was very good! It’s been ages since I’ve had some and there was no disappointment. Customer service was great! The cashier/ waitress was very nice and polite. Clean restaurant. I had to omit salsa because I cant do spicy anymore but it was still perfect. I got it to go but the restaurant inside was very nice and really clean.”
