“This bar is so much more than a local dive bar. If youre a history nerd, do your best and have a drink here. My partner and i went on a weekend spontaneously. The bartender is the sweetest, and showed us loads of history about the bar. The area that it's in used to be the jail, and if you ask they can show you where the cells have been sealed! I had such a fun time for a few hours chatting with the locals and bartender.“

We ordered 2 coffees a sandwich and a cinnamon roll. The coffees were amazing, the owner made me a custom coffee. I asked for 'Something Sweet' and the drink was so good we ordered a 2nd one. Cinnamon roll was hot, sweet, and cream cheese frosted. Licked the bowl clean! Breakfast Sandwich was made with fresh ingredients and was so tasty! We will plan our future trips to this Airport just to have this coffee and cinnamon roll again! 10/10! Oh and the reggae music jamming is the vibe!!“

“On an unpredicted rainy Wednesday night found myself in the cozy Wrigley Tavern. A locals hangout with the ambiance of the type of joint my dad might have frequented. Great service and a good selection of spirits and beer. The flatbread I tried, well, maybe not next time. I’ll come back on a weekend night for certain.“

“This place is a great place to hang out and watch a jazz trio on thursdays. The bar looks out on the bay and long beach. you can step outside to the observation deck of the ship. It is very art deco, lots of wood, a big ballroom dance scene is painted above the bar. Service is slow when it gets busy though, the bar is small and the servers have to use the same bar as everyone else. The drinks are mixed well though. Great atmosphere! You want to reserve a ticket on the website in advance even though they are usually free.“

“I both love and loathe gentrification. In the case of this bar, I loathe gentrification, if only for the increased prices in drinks. Staff is great. However, the bar fights used to be entertaining, but those don't happen anymore. That's a bit depressing.“
