The only downside is that it is a very small place for the number of people that arrive; no dance floor, only one pool table, and hard to order a drink because of the very crowded bar. “I both love and loathe gentrification. In the case of this bar, I loathe gentrification, if only for the increased prices in drinks. Staff is great. However, the bar fights used to be entertaining, but those don't happen anymore. That's a bit depressing.“

Hogged the pool table with a diverse group of male & female challengers.Neighborhood bar for all with the atmosphere y'all gravitate towards...dance, prance & romance if that's what you're after (or not!)
My one beef was wthe bartender at closing. I'm aware of his responsibilities to get us out when everyone's feeling no pain @2 am. Closing....not an easy job!
Perhaps one can attribute his fatigue & impatience trying to get us the hell out that resulted in my perceived rude encounter with El Jefe right at the end of a fun evening. Tone & attitude translate, my friend. Ya gotta be firm but not antagonistic.👹
