I was debating whether to post a review but I have been sick with a stomach'ache and worse since eating their crispy beef taco. The meat was mushy and light brown and lacked any taco flavor. It seems like they mixed in mashed potatoes or some kind of protein substitute like a soy product. It was disgusting. Good, quick drive thru Mexican good joint... it's local and I always come here for a specifically way they make my Been & Cheese burrito... overall I like this place for that, therefore I think you should try it first before you knock it because of its "location" and "exterior" ... remember, I said "drive-thru" when I started here.
Im new to the area so Im trying all the food spots in the neighborhood. I came to El Taco hoping to find my "taco spot" but I was disappointed. I ordered 3 tacos: crispy asada, crispy chicken & soft ground beef. The tacos were very large and I could have been ok with just two. The crispy chicken was decent.
