“The family and I finally tried Marley's treats. We decided to place an order for Thanksgiving. We ordered the Ube cheesecake(whole). I always have my kids try different foods. I appreciate their honesty.The staff was friendly and worked quickly to get everyone's orders and enjoy their Thanksgiving. We all agreed that it wasn't too sweet. The price wasn't too bad either. There is metered parking. They have a lot of other desserts. We plan to come back to try their ice cream.“
“Nisha did a wonderful job on my son’s first party desserts. We got mini cupcakes, brownies and a smash cake. The cupcakes were a hit with the kiddos, especially the rainbow sprinkles. I placed the order Wednesday for a Saturday pickup, it was seamless and easy. She recommended flavors and answered all of my questions. I promised he liked the cake ? Will definitely be going back!Dietary restrictions: I asked for the smash cake to be made with less sugar. Nisha accommodated by using a whipped cream frosting and was delicious.“
“I booked Nermana for our wedding cake and she did amazing! I found her online as I was looking for a cake baker around Pleasanton. I spoke to her about tasting some cake options before deciding to book. She prepared to-go cake cups for me and I taste tested them at home. The cakes are moist and the frosting is light and fluffy. I like that it's not too sweet. I loved the chocolate cake with caramel filling. I asked if we can make a small adjustment and do salted caramel filling. I showed her a couple photos of the fondant style I wanted for the cake and it turned out beautiful! With the addition of white orchids, it was perfect!Thank you Nermana!“

“OMG! I was lucky enough to discover Passion Pastry when they have set up their pop-up at Nordstrom in Walnut Creek in the past. I lucked out right before this Thanksgiving when I happened to walk by the 2nd floor escalators and found the display. I loaded up on two large gift boxes (original Alfajores and one mix sampler), a container of the Mexican Wedding cookies, a loaf of banana pecan loaf and the coconut blonde brownie. I took them to Hawaii this past Thanksgiving and presented the gift boxes and Mexican Wedding Cookies to my sister. She is an avid baker and she was thrilled with the treats. (She is recovering from surgery and was staying clear of solid food, but 'Get Well' Mexican Wedding cookies are the exception, right ? ) My favorite is the Alfajores which just literally melt in your mouth. How do you guys make them so buttery??? I kept the loaf and the brownie for myself and froze them since I would be gone for 10 days. I just toasted a couple of slices of the loaf, and despite my freezing of the loaf, they were delicious and moist. Super flavorful, and I am so happy that they kept so well. I didn't get pics of the boxed items, but I did take a couple of pics of the items I kept. My photos do not do these treats justice, but believe me, they are AMAZING. I will be ordering before I head back to Hawaii in a few weeks (it's the only thing my sister wants for Christmas!). It's a family-run business and the mom and her kids help out. This is one of those local small businesses that you need to support! Brava!“

“On a hot & muggy day, Cold-stone hits the spot. Although it's a very small store & a few outdoor tables were offered, we managed to get a table. If I had taken it to go the entire cup would have melted. As you can see the picture taken at the register looked like I had been waiting to eat it for 5-10 minutes, so I was a little disappointed that it came to me in that state. Other than the major melt down of the ice cream, I did enjoy the Coffee Lovers Only ice cream. Orders: Coffee Lovers Only -why I always go back to this is bc the coffee flavor is retained & not compromised, while the Almonds & Caramel then add a textual dimension which is a nice balance. Strawberry Ice cream with added Brownies- a creamy & rich ice cream that tells you Cold Stone uses whole milk. The added brownies gives it a nice chewy chocolate texture. Every once in a while it's nice to cool down with a Cold Stone ice cream! So until next time!“
