“Favorite local dumpling spot after weekend swim lessons. Super happy they just opened a location near where we live on Lakeshore. Never have to wait too long for a table and they have both outdoor and indoor options. Service is very fast and the servers are very nice. The restaurant is clean. The only down side is there is only one bathroom in the way back. You can see them making the dumplings as you walk to the back. Must try the xiao long bao and the juicy fried pork buns. Their noodles are all very good too and the cucumber appetizer.“
“4+ Chinese cafe that seems to specialize in Northern Chinese dishes or noodle dishes and dumplings with some of the signature numbing spice that can be found on the menu. The vibe: located in a new strip mall in the East Pleasanton area that seems to focus on primarily Asian eateries. This place itself feels modern and very familiar to the San Gabriel Valley (SGV) area in Southern California if you are familiar. There's a big screen that splits time between the food items and this anime like character that dances, haha. It's a fun /sleek Asian centric spot. Came here with my brother's fam and I personally got the tomato egg mixed noodle. I had a lot of meat the day before, so was trying to cut back. The noodles and tomato/egg is a classic combo and thought it was very tasty. The pan fried and steamed soup dumplings were really good as well. My nephew was going to town on the soup dumplings. The service is solid. If I recall, you order through QR codes...something that I am getting more and more familiar with (like a lot of places in SGV - where I'm working at the moment. There's a lot of parking because there's a big lot which is normal for the area. I would say there can be times where it's super busy and lots of traffic going through. Definitely a great spot, especially in an area that previously didn't have spots like this.“
“Simple restaurant atmosphere. Order at the counter and they give you a number. Very friendly people who work there. All the food is amazing. Check out the specials on the wall. Handmade doughs, dumplings, noodles, bings. Wow. Can't go wrong.“
“Been to Peony multiple times as it’s a family favorite - EXCELLENT Chinese food. Setting it apart is the quality of the chicken in dishes like the orange or lemon chicken - Some other fave’s are honey walnut prawns, chow mein, green beans with tofu, fried rice, and various dumplings from the dim sum menu. Friendly service tops it off.“
“Great dim sum place in Dublin, for those that are not familiar with Chinese food the amount of options can be overwhelming so take a look in advance on some options to do not get so lost.We went for lunch on a weekday and did not wait to be seated.“
“This place opens sharp at 10 am on Sundays. If your party is not all there, you will be asked to wait until they arrive. Food is very good. We have enjoyed, Shu Mai, Har Gow, Shrimp in Rice Noodles, Chinese Donut in Rice Noodle, Deep Fried Dumplings, Veggie & Pork Tofu Skin in Oyster Sauce, Shanghai Dumplings, Sticky Rice, Deep Fried Crab Claws, Crispy Pork and Many others.Staff can be very friendly and some not too responsive. Either way we get our food and we enjoy it very much.“
“I tried the baked ube buns and they are good. The dim sum is very acceptable for a family run restaurant and the Chinese food is properly flavored using enough sweet and salt on the food. Also the fried sesame balls have the proper amount of sweet black beans and are one of the best I have tried in years.“
“Their dim sum is great, especially the shrimp dishes. The prices are pretty decent compared to other bay area dim sum joints, except for the veggie dishes which are pretty overpriced ($19 for peasprouts is insane). The service is good too. We always got prompt tea refills.“
“First time here and I like it! Ample parking in the parking lot (also has Tesla EV Charging) and for the most part restaurant is nice and clean (restroom had a hard to describe odor so you may need to practice holding your breath). Restaurant is not as big nor grand as Koi's Palace or Mayflower, but it's adequate. We came here for dim sum and this place checked all the boxes.. good food, good price and good service. The crispy food came out nice and crispy (unlike some places that have them pre-fried and in push carts). One thing I like is they didn't make all of our orders and flood the table all at once, but it came staggered over the course of the hour. Wait staff was friendly and came by frequently to fill the tea ($1.70 per person for tea) and water. Portion sides are on par with other competitors, but they do put the soy sauce for the rice noodles in a small to-go type container (I'd prefer they just put the soy sauce in a small dish) that's kind of a waste. And, when we asked for chili oil, they brought a couple of chili-oil in a to-go container..Although an acquired taste, one of their best rice noodle is their bitter melon and chicken rice noodles. Their Shrimp Dumpling was plump and full of shrimp, and their stuffed eggplant was done perfectly.. crispy eggplant and chewy fish paste with good dose of sauce.Given the option, this is a great alternative to Koi and Mayflower (where you have to get a number and could end up waiting for over an hour), and the food is on par if not better. This is one to book mark and revisit for dinner.Parking: Tesla Charging Station in parking lot“
“Absolutely love this hidden gem . My reviews are for the spice lovers, who prefers extra hot. We enjoyed our dinner. My all time favorite, sauteed lotus root. We also ordered shredded pork, green onion pancake, chicken fried rice and shrimp fried rice. Thoroughly enjoyed every bite of the lotus. My go-to when it comes to Chinese! Hot Tea is good as well, very much needed for the season.“
“I stumbled upon this fantastic restaurant on my Daddy / daughter dinner night. Wasn't sure what to order but our waiter made some great choices for us. I don't know the names but everything was really tasty and of decent proportion. Service was over the top and the prices seemed to be reasonable. I would definitely go back again!“
“Excellent & authentic Chinese, Cantonese cuisine. Their chicken, beef, pork, always tender & succulent, seafood so delicious & fresh: especially honey walnut prawns! Staff especially congenial, efficient, & helpful. I don't go “
“Tried walking directions using GMaps from the Marriott and was not successful. But Uber did just fine. I met here with our customer a crew that has worked together for a long time and getting to meet for the first time in person. Recommended by one from The Philippines so that tells you it’s going to be a treat. I absolutely and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Excellent service excellent food, hot fresh food top quality. Everything from the hot tea to truffle peanuts to Vegetable dumplings, garlic, green beans we tried about half of the dishes offered, and everything was fantastic. Excellent location really nice place. This place is a local treasure and and a great place for newbies like me“
