“Very nice lunch. The staff was very kind and accommodating with my elderly grandparents. The food was very good. I do wish the prices were not so expensive but I get that it is the way of the works now. I hadn't been to the restaurant in a while. I was looking for the jelly bean jar but didn't see it :(. That was a favorite ending to our meals in the past.“

“This was our first visit, and overall, we had a lovely experience. The pasta and pizzas were absolutely delicious, though the bottoms were slightly over-charred when flipped over.

Our server was friendly and attentive — took great care of us and returned in a timely manner to offer an additional drink, which we really appreciated.

One area for improvement would be the initial hospitality — the host came across as rather cold and unwelcoming, which slightly detracted from the otherwise pleasant ambiance.

We especially enjoyed the outdoor seating area at the back — it’s a charming, spacious, quiet, and comfortable setting. Adding some shade would significantly enhance the comfort and make it an ideal spot for a more private and relaxing dining experience.“

“Service was off, especially drinks from bar were extremely slow. Ordered a latte to go with dessert but cancelled and settled for burnt coffee. Waiter neglected to mention the special peanut butter and chocolate covered dates had walnuts. My wife is allergic to walnuts so only had a couple of bites. Staff seemed overwhelmed and did not have to dining experience we are accustomed to having on past visits.“

“There is no need to visit Rome for the best Italian bites with Montescaro in the area. Everything was delicious: house bread, octopus, cauliflower, cacio e pepe, branzino, cocktails, and tiramisu. I am looking forward to our next visit. Service was welcoming and attentive. Antonio was our server in the outdoor patio and despite having 5 parties all sitting at the same time, he tended to all and kept things moving. He paced our meal beautifully as our biggest pet peeve is when all courses show up at once. Thanks Antonio & kitchen staff for a memorable visit! Other useful info: Dogs are allowed in the patio, and they have outdoor heaters.“
