“Food has always been great. Very pleasant staff and efficient without being overbearing. Just would a little more wine or cider options. Possibly cider other than apple, there are so many other flavors that go great with Italian food, and maybe a sweeter less dry white wine like a resiling. Other than that, it's a fun place to go.“

“I had a takeout pizza from this restaurant last night first of all the customer service was absolutely excellent. The person that answered the phone had a really pleasant customer focused manner , nothing was too much trouble and he was so polite. The pizza was absolutely amazing , I hate anything that is too heavy and it was so light and lovely , the ingredients tasted extremely fresh , I would 100% recommend this place based upon my first experience and I will be back thanks so much 🥰“

“My family and I were celebrating my 69th birthday prior to attending the Lesher theater on Friday, December 12th. When I made the reservation, the only option was to sit outside. It was very chilly that night so we opted to eat at the bar instead. Lupita, the hostess, and staff went out of their way to put 2 tables together so we could eat indoors and all at one table.
In addition to the lovely staff, the food was delicious and the wait staff was very attentive. Many thanks to everyone for making my birthday dinner feel special.“

“I'm from the East Coast. I grew up there. Pancoast not only delivers great NY style pizza, they also have the wonderful sociable vibe of the east coast where you feel like you're family when you go there. Such good peeps...Nick and Sophie and the whole bunch.“

“It's kinda pricy but I have to say, I'm at least never disappointed with the main entrees. Bread isn't bad and if you dine in, you have access to more bread. They have a soda fountain as well. I'm not particularly impressed by the dessert plus there's several other really good dessert places nearby.
The service is pretty quick and the staff is super friendly. I have no issues here.
The restaurant is a good size, decent space between tables so it never feels too crowded, even when it's filled with customers. Nice big windows so it feels open but there's also outdoor seating. The space is generally clean, including the bathrooms.
My issue with this area (which isn't the restaurant's fault) is the parking. It's a very popular area so fighting for parking is pretty normal.
Overall, I really like this place. If my family and I need a quick Italian fix, it's our go-to!“

“I grew up on Garlex Pizza and while the ownership has change the pizza remains the same! Delicious. My husband says the ALL MEAT is one of the best in town.
Staff is always friendly and pizza is always ready on time (when ordered in advance).“

“I ordered the make-your-own-pasta bowl with fettuccine and marinara sauce. The breadsticks were amazing and the pasta was pretty good. Our waitress was really nice and we got our soups in about 3 minutes. Even though they didn’t have fettuccine on their make-your-own-pasta bowl, she made sure I got it free of charge. The main course came about 5 minutes later. Overall it was a nice experience.“

Prices were reasonable with proper sized portions and the bread bar was simple option if you need a little more food with a simple meal.
The meat ravioli was amazing and the best I have had in Hayward and was perfectly complemented by the Cesar salad.“

“My favorite Italian sandwich place in the East Bay. They get busy at times, but it’s worth it. The food is good and they are consistent. Parking is easy on the side streets, but very limited in the front. There is a lot in the back too if needed.“

“Food: Our friend recommended this place and they’ve been dined in or ordered takeouts multiple times. We came here and tried the recommended dishes, and it’s probably by far the BEST I’ve tried near Bay Area. I can’t wait to come back again and tried other pasta dishes and see if Melo’s going to be my fav Italian restaurant of all time! 100% recommend the chicken parmigiana, the sauce and cheese are perfectly balanced. I’m very picky when it comes to cheese or cream, and they made it so well✨ Square pizza is also another highlight. It was slight over burnt on the edge but the honey complements the flavor of the pepperoni and crispness.
Ambiance: it was warm and cozy. We sat in the patio seats and it suddenly rained, and all the staff came out to open the shades, and they also helped with the heater and offering blankets which makes the dining experience enjoyable.

“My husband and I were craving pizza. However, the places here in Castro Valley have been disappointing recently. We decided to give Villa Roma a try and see how we liked it. We loved it! We ordered a custom pizza and garden salad. Both were delicious. The garden salad was fresh, flavorful, and filled with a scrumptious variety of vegetables. We will be going back soon.“

“Just had a GREAT experience at Melo’s today! We had a large group (24+) where we pre-ordered pizza and salads. They set us up in an area perfect for our group. Our food was set up on one table…buffet style…and we had plenty of tables to sit and eat. Highly recommend Melo’s pizza and pasta in Danville!“

“They are lucky that the pizza is unquestionably the best, because the wait times are always long, nobody answers the phones, and the online ordering doesnt work unless you use a 3rd party application that upcharges 10% for your convenience.
I hope they bolster their staff on Saturdays in the future.“

“You know normally I'd see this and say, "Big deal...". It actually was pretty good from maybe 20 years ago or so I last tried this. The two guys working were very cool. I could tell doing a good job meant alot to them. Instead of a $2 tip I gave $2.25. Totally joking. Tip these workers kids!

“We love Primavera! I had the Salmon Dill entree and shared a Caesar salad with my husband. Plenty of salad for two. My husband had the Veal special, he said it was good. Very busy on a Friday night but we had reservations. Our server was very attentive. Good place for dine in or takeout.“
