“I've been coming here for the chef salad for the past 4 years. They're always consistent in making me a fantastic plate! All the ingredients are fresh, crisp and well prepared. The staff is both polite and helpful. As a bonus, it smells wonderful inside, similar to Jamba Juice. Great place! Their waters are just what I need on a hot day.“

“I highly recommend this Ice cream place! It is so DELICIOUS! It's located right after you exit the 805! There's plenty of parking. The place itself is super pretty and beautiful decorations. They have the cutest I'ce cream shop! Now the most important thing is the variety of flavors they have! Authentic flavors that are hard to find! For example beso de angel! That flavor is super unique from Mexico and is the first time I find it here in the USA that has that authentic taste. They have a bunch of more flavors and cones, cups and much more! They also have other options. Prices are pricy but worth it! The young lady was extremely friendly! She provided us great customer service! A great smile in her face. I believe they also do catering! I'll definitely hire them for an event.“

“I’ve been making my own ice cream since I got the Ninja Creami for Christmas. So it was nice to have some from a creamery. I’m also aware of ice cream ingredients and I like that this is on the lighter side.We were able to sample flavors. I ended up getting avocado pistachio. I didn’t taste much avocado, I think it was used as a base for texture. It did have a strong pistachio taste and had bits and pieces of pistachio.My friend got coffee and that was delicious. Had a mocha flavor. We both regret that we didn’t sample Mexican hot chocolate.They also serve drinks. As well as elote! I loved that they offer different cup sizes.“

“One of my favorite gelato store in San Diego, Nado Gelato offers a wide selection of gelato flavors ranging from chocolate to tart flavors like berry & lemon. I personally love all the italian flavors (panna cotta, amaretto and stracciatella) but my personal favorite is the opera (which taste like nutella milk ice cream with bits of hazelnut!) Parking can be a bit of a hassle on the weekends but I like to walk around Coronado before treating myself to a small/kid size gelato at Nado. They have both indoor and outdoor seating and the service is always friendly & quick. Parking: Street parking Price: $ Recommendation: Opera & Amaretto They do offer coffee but I personally haven't tried it so this review is solely based on their delicious, creamy gelato!“

“My partner and I went in around a quarter after 8AM on a Saturday. There was a small line, and it was out the door, but we did not wait long. Firstly, I just want to say the the service was great. The ladies behind the counter were very attentive and really friendly. Absolutely all smiles. The seating area was decently sized and you can fit in a few people if you just want to stay inside and have your breakfast. We opted for the croissant sandwiches, number 3 to be exact. We weren't expecting them to be huge, but be warned, they are! You can easily split half if you aren't keen on a big sandwich. It was delicious and well worth it. I think we will try the same one next time, but with bacon. We also got a delicious Vietnamese coffee and it was sweet and strong! If you aren't used to it, just a heads up. We did purchase half a dozen donuts prior to this day, and it was all delicious. They even threw in a few extra donut holes! Definitely will have to try the other variety of donuts they have. Quite a selection including massive donuts! This was honestly a great place and we'll be purchasing donuts from here all the time!“

“!! Cash only!! Delicious ice cream with unique flavors! The ice cream was light, flavorful, and not too sweet. More on the icy side than the creamy side as Mexican ice cream tends to be (compared to American). I got two scoops for $6. Guava has strong flavor. It was much sweeter than the rice pudding which I preferred. Rice pudding even had flakes on cinnamon in it. On a Sunday afternoon, no line but there were other customers. The singular person working behind the counter was very friendly and gave us samples to try. There are two small tables outside, none inside.“

“Just want to shout out the 3 girls that were working today for the Crumbl Turns 6 Birthday. I had to wait 30-40 minutes for my cookies since they kept getting sold out. These women crushed it the whole time I was waiting. Customer service was amazing. They kept a positive attitude through the whole time people were a bit bothered that cookies were getting sold out and couldn’t full fill some orders. Management should of known to double their staff for this event. Give these girls a raise or a paid day off please. The way they handled all their customers has to be recognized. Amazing work girls!! “Located on the strip. Cute spot with a diner feel. It was perfect after being on the beach with the kids. They had a variety of ice cream, soda pop, and treats like cookies and donuts. I got the sundae with 3 flavors, brownie batter, coffee and banana Nutella. It was covered with fudge, nuts, whip cream and 3 cherries. It was perfect! The service was great, the made sure the line got down quick by helping each other with customer. We had a large order and they on it! I recommend this spot!“

“I enjoyed the sea salt caramel ice cream. I don't like that they don't do samples, even a 2 or 3 sample minimum per person would be good. For that, I saw go to Salt & Straw instead. Handel's has big portions even for a small, so it's difficult to try a new flavor without being wasteful.“

“Holy Paleta provides dairy and non dairy paleta options. I got the mini cookies and cream which is a dairy option. It was definitely delicious and the right size for a rainy day. I inquired about their catering and very helpful in navigating the information on the website. The establishment provides various catering packages for either delivery or pick up. I can’t wait to place my order for an upcoming birthday celebration.“

“Take-out review 2/24 Had the chance to try their yummy desserts at a family dinner. The cheesecake was SOOO good! Light, fluffy, slightly sweet (as most Asian desserts are). Priced around $19, which is actually reasonable compared to most dessert/pie/cake equivalents. Japanese desserts feel light, so even after a hearty meal, you still want it! Also tried the matcha tiramisu. Sorry no photo. It was gone before I could snap a photo. This was a bit pricey at $14 for a small round. Considering the price of matcha though, the price really is warranted. Strong slightly bitter matcha flavor. Lucious creamy filling. Not overly sweet. It was a bit out of the way for them to pick up. However, who else but family is worth it? Right?“

“Service is great! The employees are friendly and welcoming. Love the Tostilocos set up (will come back with the kids). I was hungry and got the Mediterranean bowl with chicken, it was delicious! The quinoa topped with the fresh cucumber, juicy chicken, pickled red onions, olives, tomatoes, chickpeas and feta cheese . It's so big I have dinner and lunch for tomorrow.“

“A legendary San Diego area ice cream shop that I finally got to stop by yesterday and wow was I impressed! It's a little tucked away hidden gem in National City that serves delicious ice cream made daily with quality ingredients and with many unique flavors! The lady serving me was so friendly and told me about how their ice cream was made and how they developed flavors back in the day after talking with sailors coming back from deployment. I ended up getting 2 scoops with my flavor choices being Honey Bourbon Fig & Sweet Cream Peanut Butter. The ice cream here is amazing and my 2 scoops were delicious! The honey bourbon fig was quite interesting and a great flavor combination that I would order again and my favorite of the 2 but sweet cream peanut butter was also tasty with a good amount of peanut butter mixed in! This shop easily gets a 5/5 recommendation from me and you should definitely stop by to get ice cream here and it's easy to grab and go or you can even get a half gallon container if you want to take some home!“

“The perfect milkshake! The chocolate peanut ice cream was the best I've had. A lot of places either don't have enough chocolate flavor or enough peanut butter. This was the perfect ratio! It wasn't too thick or too thin. Plenty of flavor options too.“

“Oh my freaking goodness! This place is amazing! There are so many things to choose from. We were headed to a drive-in movie, otherwise I would've bought some paletas to take home. There was only one person working behind the counter, so service was a little slow (totally understandable though, plus the snowballs are custom made for you), but the staff was friendly and very patient.I ended up getting an ube snowball w/ lychee ice cream & condensed milk on top. I was pregnant at the time, so it was definitely enough to fill me up. I still dream about it to this day, the flavors were on point and it was just so delicious. Next time I go back I need to get a bunch of paletas -- which you can customize as well.“

The prices here are also amazing, $8 for 12. It might be a bit tricky to find, you have to walk down a driveway on the corner of the block before you'll see it. It looks very run down, but the owners are very nice. They don't speak too much English but enough to make a transaction. Absolutely amazing ice cream 10/10.“

I've ordered smoothies and also bowls from here and they are generous with the fruit content. Everything tastes amazing and healthy. “Amazing customer service! We wandered in 5 min before closing and the guy still let me ask tons of questions and let me try all the options I wasn't familiar with. Everything was so tasty!! We ended up ordering the Canastita Michoacána. You get 3 scoops of your choice of (only Lord knows how many) wonderfully delicious flavors of ice cream. I chose Guanabana, passion fruit and mango. 2 choices of fruit topping, I chose papaya and mango. Topped with whipped cream and strawberry syrup in a waffle bowl . Everything tastes so heavenly! Of course you may encounter some seeds depending on what you order, but that's how you know you are eating REAL fruit! “This place is amazingly clean. Very important! Clean floors, prep tables, all of the above. For a change, I finally found excellent customer service that came with a kind and friendly smile, in fact, the entire staff warmly greets everyone who walks in. “Amazing Boba place! Their drinks are quality here. We got the Matcha tea latte, and the strawberry lemonade with mango stars and they were both so delicious and refreshing! There is a small parking lot and parking is not an issue. We found parking right away. Customer Service was great! Definitely will be coming back here to enjoy and try the rest of their drink items. I definitely will get the strawberry lemonade again it was so yummy!“

“The ice cream is delicious! I was able to sample several flavors, all of them tasty. I got a double scoop of Gansito. It was so nostalgic and delicious! Did anyone else put your Gansitos in the freezer? (A Gansito is "a strawberry-flavored jelly and crème-filled cake with chocolate-flavored coating.", for those that don't know) I was welcomed with warmth and so much patience. I wish I lived closer and I would be a regular. If you are anywhere near here and need a treat, it is worth it!“

“One of the best ice cream places in Chula Vista. Forget about everything else. You'll find a lot of Mexican flavors here's like nanche, mamey, membrillo, bubulubu. They offer ice cream, ice cream bars, agua fresha, tostilocos, nachos and bunch of other items. Go check them out! They do get extremely busy later in the day especially weekends.“

“I used to go to Oasis and take friends there just for their hand made ice cream. One time I took a certified chef there, and he was very impressed with the square tins used. The mom and pop were friendly, and I hope they are well. Tell them hello from the boat lady. I had to sell the boat and move to RB; I miss their delicious ice cream and bars. “I have been going to Nuyo since it was opened and I love their yoghurt. They always change the flavors but their original is still my favorite (tart) and the toppings are fresh and delicious. They always have fresh mango, strawberries and lots of toppings.“
