“I had a wonderful experience at Baskin Robbins! The service was exceptional, and I want to commend the tall employee with glasses for being exceptionally kind and helpful, especially towards an elderly customer. Will definitely be coming back!“
“This was an amazing experience. The flavors are unique and delicious. With three vegan flavors available (I am vegan-and their options were fantastic), and the rest all delicately balanced with exquisite flavor (as per my wife/son's recommendations). They give you a flavor taste test of all the flavors and it is very difficult to pick from all of the unique flavors. The biggest draw for me was the repressing of the previous store's brand/look/SIGNAGE as a dry cleaners and repressing it to be an Ice creamery. Brilliant idea, and it definitely works. Please support this establishment...you will be so happy you did.“
“Best ice cream I’ve ever had. My friend got me the strawberry rhubarb crisp and it was so delicious! I just went on the Facebook page and found out it was vegan and gluten free. I had no idea. It was seriously the best ice cream I’ve ever had.“
“I recommend EVERYTHING!!! Amazing gelato!! Amazing gentleman who makes this gelato (we forgot to ask his name!). We were celebrating our anniversary and wanted some dessert. We love gelato and did a google and found Milkissimo Gelato. He has us as customers for life. What a delightful gentleman. We tried every flavor and LOVED them all!!! He is even going to make me some pistachio gelato!!! He was such a joy to chat with and it was the perfect dessert for our anniversary celebration!!“
“I was nervous about the flavors, mostly because I didn’t know what they were! But was able to taste test and decided on the Quattroberry and stracciatella. Delicious! Great price- $6.50 for two big scoops! Definitely wanted to go back. Try the dragon fruit/lemon one- super tart and so good!“
“I highly recommend this Ice cream place! It is so DELICIOUS! It's located right after you exit the 805! There's plenty of parking. The place itself is super pretty and beautiful decorations. They have the cutest I'ce cream shop! Now the most important thing is the variety of flavors they have! Authentic flavors that are hard to find! For example beso de angel! That flavor is super unique from Mexico and is the first time I find it here in the USA that has that authentic taste. They have a bunch of more flavors and cones, cups and much more! They also have other options. Prices are pricy but worth it! The young lady was extremely friendly! She provided us great customer service! A great smile in her face. I believe they also do catering! I'll definitely hire them for an event.“
“Favorite ice cream spot in San Diego! The ice cream tastes amazing and the portions are huge. Their cream texture is special. I love their chocolate flavors so I usually get their Gooey Fudge Brownie and the Chocolate Peanut Butter Brownie.“
“Customer service was excellent and they strive for each customer to have a personalized experience. A little tricky to find because of the one way streets but I wouldn't count it against them. Otherwise food was great and we'll definitely be coming back when we're in downtown!“
“These have got to be the best cookies I have ever had! I was visiting SD from out of town and found this place. I ended up making two trips because they were that good. Glad I was able to enjoy some great cookies and support a black owned business! And the portion size matches the price.“
“As far as ice cream goes, this place was great! Super fun, unique flavors and hefty scoops for a reasonable price. The waffle cone was good- crisp and not soggy, and the entire place smelled amazing. If there was a salt and straw candle I would buy it in a heartbeat! We got one of the rotating flavors (day old banana pudding) and the cinnamon snickerdoodle which were both really good. After dinner it was packed and the line was out the door. They do allow unlimited flavor samples which is nice, but also makes the line move extremely slow. That would be my only critique, but I understand why they do it! Indoor seating is limited as were the napkins, but there’s room to sit and stand outdoors.“
“Friendly staff and welcoming atmosphere. It is a bit hidden so go to the end of the little mall by the tattoo parlor. The smoothies rock - the best fruit combos and very filling sandwiches!Wheelchair accessibility: Handicap spot right in front“
“Ok, I am from NY and love pizza. I am not a NYC pizza snob though and welcome all iterations of 'za! I have to say that this pizza is probably the best I have ever had of its type. They are "Roman" slices, meaning focaccia crust. Variety of slice options are insane with creative combinations that are not only imaginative, but insanely delicious. Slices are cooked upon ordering for supreme freshness. I especially like the Lussuria - prosciutto, black pepper, mashed potato, mozzarella and olive oil. (I NEVER thought I would like mashed potato on a slice, but it's insanely good.) The help here is amazing as well. Caesar was working the oven and he gave great suggestions and explained the product well. Very inviting and definitely steered me in the right direction. Need gluten free? They got it! Will make a GF slice for you right on the spot. I challenge anyone to have just one slice. I had to go back for 2 more. Enjoy!“
“We found Cabetos a few years ago at a farmers market. Ever since then if we ever see them somewhere- it’s a must have treat. We recently had a grand opening event for our new business and had them cater. They were awesome to work with. Weston, who was at our event was so fun and EVERYONE loved the ice cream. I highly recommend to find them at a farmers market near you or book them for your next event. I now need to go to their new store! So fun!“
“Love it! Strawberry heaven, which is just intense strawberry with condensed milk, was great! Perfect for a hot day. Would recommend. $6 is a decent price, I thought it would be more honestly. It's not huge but it's a fair price in 2024.“
“After a stroll around the block - we took a gander at North Park's abundance of ice cream options - my friend and I decided on North Park Creamery! I didn’t realize it was soft serve at first, but was pleasantly surprised. I loved the local feel and inviting, colorful atmosphere too.I loved their vegan coconut ube — it tasted amazingly creamy, and the flavor was strong. I’m still dreaming of it now… (I also tried a bit of my friend’s strawberry-churro twist, and the flavors were a bit on the mild side, but still pleasant (the churro was like a cinnamon-y vanilla — I preferred the ube.) A small is $5.95.There’s some seating inside (and even some board games available), so it’s a nice place to chill for a while. As for parking, I parked at the North Park Garage for $5 in the evening. Loved it!“
“Stopped by here one evening a few minutes after 9pm when they close. Saw they were still open so we popped in hoping to get some ice cream. The girl working was being very patient with an indecisive customer in front of us and then extended the same patience to help us next. I truly appreciated her willingness to serve us "after hours" technically speaking. You don't see that very often these days. Now to the ice cream... they have a great mix of both unique and classic flavors. Something for everyone. The flavors are rich, but not overpowering. The portions are generous and the prices are fair. If you're a cone person. I'd highly recommend the waffle cone too.“
“I’ve been making my own ice cream since I got the Ninja Creami for Christmas. So it was nice to have some from a creamery. I’m also aware of ice cream ingredients and I like that this is on the lighter side.We were able to sample flavors. I ended up getting avocado pistachio. I didn’t taste much avocado, I think it was used as a base for texture. It did have a strong pistachio taste and had bits and pieces of pistachio. My friend got coffee and that was delicious. Had a mocha flavor. We both regret that we didn’t sample Mexican hot chocolate. They also serve drinks. As well as elote! I loved that they offer different cup sizes.“
“Best ice cream I’ve ever had. My friend got me the strawberry rhubarb crisp and it was so delicious! I just went on the Facebook page and found out it was vegan and gluten free. I had no idea. It was seriously the best ice cream I’ve ever had.“
“Ice cream is always 5 stars. Although I was a little disappointed this location didn't have the more tropical Hawaiian flavors as the other location. Everything I had was really good but the Fat Elvis was hella delicious The loss of star is due to location and parking which seems to be the consensus based on other reviews We parked at the garage down the street which was about 1/4 mile away. The crappy thing is when we came back to the elevator a bunch of teens were hotboxing in the elevator from floors 1-6. Told my kids don't be @ssholes like them I miss the other location and will try and hit this location up only during the daytime“
“I haven't been here since the first week they opened a couple of years ago. The place is very clean. The food is good quality. I had a bagel with smoked salmon, the avocado was a nice touch. I thought it strange they waited to make coffee after I ordered it. At least it was fresh. And I suppose if you call it "Americano" you can charge $4 for a plain cup of coffee. The young man working here had to be shown how to do almost everything by the woman who knew what she was doing. I hope it was his first day. Someone needs to teach him that it's rude to wear earbuds while talking with customers. They had a couple of flavor creamers for the coffee but no stir sticks. When I asked for one, I got a plastic spoon, which is a bit of a waste.“
“One of my favorite gelato store in San Diego, Nado Gelato offers a wide selection of gelato flavors ranging from chocolate to tart flavors like berry & lemon. I personally love all the italian flavors (panna cotta, amaretto and stracciatella) but my personal favorite is the opera (which taste like nutella milk ice cream with bits of hazelnut!) Parking can be a bit of a hassle on the weekends but I like to walk around Coronado before treating myself to a small/kid size gelato at Nado. They have both indoor and outdoor seating and the service is always friendly & quick. Parking: Street parking Price: $ Recommendation: Opera & Amaretto They do offer coffee but I personally haven't tried it so this review is solely based on their delicious, creamy gelato!“
“Just in from the East Coast & wow yummy stuff! Service friendly & helpful trying to choose from delicious flavors...LOVED the rose almond...I know weird combo but surprisingly mild & just different...hubby loved the salted caramel!!“
“the service was amazing! it was just the cashier and one other young lady and they did amazing. the ambiance it pretty nice and has information of their company as well as funny/interesting signs. very clean and take care of even the restroom. i tried the wild berry lavender and it was perfect. the herbal taste is good but not too overpowering. you can taste the citrus also. the waffle pieces were crunchy and very tasty. would come back to try more flavors!“
“I go there all the time. I get green juice and 4 street tacos. Really nice people. All juices from fresh fruit. Big menu. They have sweets candy and ice cream . Bags of chips. While you there go next door get your hair cutParking: Parking spots in front of the store.Kid-friendliness: Happy place bright colored walls and tables and chairs. Big tubs of ice cream.“
“My partner and I went in around a quarter after 8AM on a Saturday. There was a small line, and it was out the door, but we did not wait long. Firstly, I just want to say the the service was great. The ladies behind the counter were very attentive and really friendly. Absolutely all smiles. The seating area was decently sized and you can fit in a few people if you just want to stay inside and have your breakfast. We opted for the croissant sandwiches, number 3 to be exact. We weren't expecting them to be huge, but be warned, they are! You can easily split half if you aren't keen on a big sandwich. It was delicious and well worth it. I think we will try the same one next time, but with bacon. We also got a delicious Vietnamese coffee and it was sweet and strong! If you aren't used to it, just a heads up. We did purchase half a dozen donuts prior to this day, and it was all delicious. They even threw in a few extra donut holes! Definitely will have to try the other variety of donuts they have. Quite a selection including massive donuts! This was honestly a great place and we'll be purchasing donuts from here all the time!“
“My first time to crumbl , I received a box of 4 for my birthday so had to visit the store and see what other choices was there I was in heaven , the staff was friendly and very professional at their job all were hard at work to make yummy for my tummy cookies I'll definitely be back 5 Star ⭐️ for my local “
“Delicious and unique ice cream flavors served in South Park! Mutual Friend shares its location with Dark Horse Coffee in a convenient corner establishment.Parking:Street parking only— be aware that you might have to circle around a couple of blocks if you go during busy afternoons and weekends.Ambiance/ServiceNice, bright coffee/ice cream shop decorated with string lights above and a large neon sign that says “Dark Horse Coffee.” Not a lot of seating inside— only a couple of 4-person benches and maybe one or two 2-person tables. A large electronic menu resides next to the ice cream counter with descriptions of each flavor. The guy serving us was very patient and nice as we tried out many flavors! At around 7pm on a Wednesday, there was no line.Food:Split singe scoop ($6.50): I ordered the Buttermilk and Blueberries & Couch Potato (I loved the combination of sweet and salty on this one). My husband ordered Vanilla Bean with Olive Oil and Milk and Cookies. What I noticed is that the ice cream is a bit on the runnier side so it might be difficult to eat with a cone.Overall:I’m impressed with the flavors available and I’d love to come back to try out other seasonal flavors when they come out!“
“Visited for the first time today and ordered a Reese’s frozen yogurt and it was absolutely DIVINE!!! Amazing customer service as well, our cashier was very friendly and offered great advice when choosing a flavor. Will be coming back 100%. Very rarely do i feel the need to write a review as soon as I leave a location but this place deserves the attention!“
“Had a chance to visit Malibu Farms at the seaport area when visiting San Diego with the girls and it was awesome! This location is right in front of the water and has good food and awesome vibes. The service was fast and efficient and the food portions were large for what you pay. I ended up getting the chicken bacon burger which came with a salad and a broccoli potato mash. This was yummy and juicy. The portions were so much I actually couldn't finish it! Overall food was yummy, views were great and company was perfect!“
“!! Cash only!! Delicious ice cream with unique flavors! The ice cream was light, flavorful, and not too sweet. More on the icy side than the creamy side as Mexican ice cream tends to be (compared to American). I got two scoops for $6. Guava has strong flavor. It was much sweeter than the rice pudding which I preferred. Rice pudding even had flakes on cinnamon in it. On a Sunday afternoon, no line but there were other customers. The singular person working behind the counter was very friendly and gave us samples to try. There are two small tables outside, none inside.“
“The staff barely made said anything, no greeting or friendly remark. But we got the orders quickly and correctly. No dairy free options. Red bean is good. Atmosphere is a normal ice cream shop - bright, no comfortable seating.Parking: Depending on how busy the area is the parking can be easy.Kid-friendliness: Lots of seating. Nothing for them to play with to make a mess (this is a good thing).“
“Just want to shout out the 3 girls that were working today for the Crumbl Turns 6 Birthday. I had to wait 30-40 minutes for my cookies since they kept getting sold out. These women crushed it the whole time I was waiting. Customer service was amazing. They kept a positive attitude through the whole time people were a bit bothered that cookies were getting sold out and couldn’t full fill some orders. Management should of known to double their staff for this event. Give these girls a raise or a paid day off please. The way they handled all their customers has to be recognized. Amazing work girls!! I was going through a heart break and these girls turned it around for me. Keep it up!“
“Craving a dessert while walking around Hillcrest neighborhood, so we stumbled upon this shop! They have a large array of gelato, we got to sample, and they were sooo creamy, rich, and full of flavor without being too sweet. They also serve coffee, crepes, slices of cheesecakes, and cute little desserts. All of their desserts look so appetizing. We got a small gelato in a cup for $5.50. Most other desserts are pricy, range from $7-15 each. Parking is only street or a paid parking garage, not sure if they validate parking!“
“Updating to 5 stars based on my second visit. It's pretty good and service is amazing! Place is cool. People are very nice. The large froyo is a great deal, $10 and it's really big! This amount at Pinkberry would probably be $20. I liked the original tart with strawberries and mochi. All the Dole stuff is really good. I actually caught the Dole ship at the harbor, the Dole Caribbean and all the Dole containers and trucks! It was just a short walk from here! I liked the pineapple products the most. Service is actually really amazing. They opened a new mochi pack because the one I had before was a little stale. And the girl working here (I think her name is Mia, according to my receipt) remembered me from yesterday! A little embarrassing perhaps, considering I ordered so much multiple times in the span of a couple days, but very nice and made me feel welcome :) I liked the mango madness smoothie and peaches peaches shake more than the strawberry banana or San Diego Squeeze smoothies, which surprised me because my default is strawberry banana! If you're at the convention center or a nearby hotel it's worth checking out! I wish I could come back!“
“Ghirardelli’s knows hot fudge. The sundaes here are so good. We got the cookie sundae the ultimate chocolate sundae and the banana split. They were all spectacular, although I liked the cookie one the best. The parking around the place is very limited. The street in front of it is closed to cars. We went on a Wednesday night in April and didn’t wait in line and got our sundaes in about 5 minutes. Definitely not the norm. It was on the pricey side for ice cream.“
“This place has been a favorite of my wife and her family - and now all of us - for half a century! She is addicted to their deep-fried burritos (simple but tasty little gut bombs they are) and the peanut butter fudge shake I created for her. (I'm also partial to the banana fudge shake, but all the ice cream goodies here are luscious!) My mother adores their strawberry sundaes and shakes. Foster's may play havoc with your calories, but sometimes that's the cost of happy.“
“Best Fro Yo I've ever tried !! They have sweetest and best customer service. You will see welcoming and smiley faces all the time. They have fresh and good amount topics I can't help saying , their Cookie Fix with homemade cookies is my go to“
“I enjoyed the sea salt caramel ice cream. I don't like that they don't do samples, even a 2 or 3 sample minimum per person would be good. For that, I saw go to Salt & Straw instead. Handel's has big portions even for a small, so it's difficult to try a new flavor without being wasteful.“
“This was sooooo delicious!! The atmosphere was super cute and the flight was great choice! I was definitely eager to go back the next day….. even went back—- but they’re closed on Mondays….. THEY HAVE GOOD ICE CREAM!! My flight had 2 servings of Lemon Custard! ?“
“This is a new shop; as soon as you walk in your impressed with how bright, clean, and inspiring the place is! And great positive energy from the staff! The ice cream is really good, and they have lots of special ways to prepare it, all yummy! Not only that, but they also have smoothies, juices, raspados, and tortas! I had the roast beef torta- the bread was super fresh, and the sandwich looked like a food advertisement. It was so delicious! I also had one of the Rosa’s Classic ice cream treats - top quality ice cream with yummy fresh strawberries, nuts, and brownies! I’ll be stopping by here often for lunch and treats!“
“I've known the owners over the last decade and the place has gone through a lot of change in a positive way. The business survived the COVID shutdown and is thriving again. I was there with others that found what they were looking for and then some. It's always like being a member of the family when you come in.“
“No other ice cream place compares. Prices are a little high but it's more than worth it! Oreo cheesecake twister is my absolute favorite and of course always have to grab some tater tots as well!!Parking: Lots of parkingKid-friendliness: They have an outside eating area that it's perfect for the kiddos.Wheelchair accessibility: Definitely wheelchair accessible“
“The cookies here are so tasty! They have a variety of flavors that rotate each month. You can also order cookies on their website to be delivered, if you aren't in the area. The display case is organized and check out process was so fast. Street parking only around the area, but I didn't have trouble finding a spot.“
“I’ll start off my review with saying great customer service . It shows the owner has put in a lot much of his/her time to train their employees properly . Every time I walk in I am always greeted and never rushed when ordering . I personally love there fruit waters and making my own chip bowl. All prices are decent and affordable so they fit everyones budget . It can get busy from time to time but totally worth the wait . I definitely recommend visiting this location to grab something for your sweet tooth or salty craving:) . Most importantly this location is always clean and sanitized ! You will never see a mess.“
“my favorite matcha place in san diego! the aesthetic is impecable, the service is lovely, and i cannot say enough good things about their matcha. their og matcha latte is amazing but if you prefer any flavors with your matcha, i love the lavender matcha latte or strawberry matcha. also, the whole place is dairy free so they don’t up charge for any non dairy milk which is fabulous. if you are even so much as thinking of trying matcha, i highly recommend holy matcha“
“This place was right across the street from our hotel and we wanted coffee and breakfast. Wow, what a great find. The coffee was really good. Not served so freaking hot that you can't drink it for an hour. The first day we went I also had the breakfast burrito and my wife had the Croissant Sandwich. We couldn't believe how big they were for the price. We could have honestly just split one, which is exactly what we did the next day when we went back. You order at the window and then you can take it to go or they have an enclosed seating area with heaters that overlooks the water. Very comfortable and a great view. Highly recommend.“
“Man, this place brings me back. I was born and raised in Kuwait, where this place originates. I have fond memories of hanging out at the local Juice Time with friends or siblings after a long day of spending time together and hanging around. I'm happy to say that this place brings those nostalgically wonderful memories back to me in the form of delicious beverages and decadently sweet desserts. Let's talk a bit more about the food options. As Kuwaitis, we're known in the Arabian Peninsula for incredible cuisine and sublime dessert recipes. At this place, you can take a waffle or crepe, and add lotus, pistachio sauce, kinder, Nutella and whatever else your heart desires. You'll be sure to dig into such a deliciously sweet treat that it'd be hard not to come back for more later. The kunafa, which is a cultural food item from the greater middle east and levantine regions, is so well-perfected here. It makes me happy that my culinary culture is brought to such life and authenticity under the supervision of this location's manager, Ali. There's plenty of room to sit down and enjoy your beverages and dessert, here, but don't be afraid to get that drink to go. I remember growing up I would always pass by the local juice time and say, "hey, some Awaar Galb (drink called heartattack, its healthier than it sounds, I promise) sounds pretty good right now." and I would continue my outing with a newly acquired beverage. Do yourself and favor and try out some food and drink and from this place. They did our culinary culture a solid by bringing this place to the finest city in America.“
“Take-out review 2/24 Had the chance to try their yummy desserts at a family dinner. The cheesecake was SOOO good! Light, fluffy, slightly sweet (as most Asian desserts are). Priced around $19, which is actually reasonable compared to most dessert/pie/cake equivalents. Japanese desserts feel light, so even after a hearty meal, you still want it! Also tried the matcha tiramisu. Sorry no photo. It was gone before I could snap a photo. This was a bit pricey at $14 for a small round. Considering the price of matcha though, the price really is warranted. Strong slightly bitter matcha flavor. Lucious creamy filling. Not overly sweet. It was a bit out of the way for them to pick up. However, who else but family is worth it? Right?“
“I’ll walk here for coffee on some mornings. The coffee here is more my taste and style and excellently crafted each time. The part that touches my heart is the consistent warm welcome upon enter the establishment from who I believe is the owner.Parking: On the corner in little Italy; plan for street or lot parking unless walking.“
“Holy Paleta provides dairy and non dairy paleta options. I got the mini cookies and cream which is a dairy option. It was definitely delicious and the right size for a rainy day. I inquired about their catering and very helpful in navigating the information on the website. The establishment provides various catering packages for either delivery or pick up. I can’t wait to place my order for an upcoming birthday celebration.“
