“Located on the strip. Cute spot with a diner feel. It was perfect after being on the beach with the kids. They had a variety of ice cream, soda pop, and treats like cookies and donuts. I got the sundae with 3 flavors, brownie batter, coffee and banana Nutella. It was covered with fudge, nuts, whip cream and 3 cherries. It was perfect! The service was great, the made sure the line got down quick by helping each other with customer. We had a large order and they on it! I recommend this spot!“
“So let me tell ya something. I was in town hanging oht with my daughter after her return from deployment with the Navy & this little location was on our radar. U will walk right past this location if your not paying attention but oh my goodness is it legit. They make their cones by hand and that little detail I think makes this place a diamond. We ended up stopping here 6 times over the week that I was in town. My favorite was the strawberry cheesecake. My daughter loved the Oreo. Easily the best place we stopped at while I was there in town. AAA+++“
“Came here at the perfect time before they had a little bit of a line. We got right in & I tried out the pink cotton candy ice cream which is just as good as the original blue! Size was a love it mixed with some crushed Oreo cookies. The customer service was fast, easy, & the ladies that worked here are incredibly polite. Beautiful views of the ferry landing & plenty of seating around. Absolutely loved my experience here!“

“Speakeasy is no longer for cocktails. Ice cream has come into the picture and I'm here for it. The flavors change monthly. The employees are so nice they allow you to sample each flavor. They have dairy free options. You can get it on a cone, cup, or even pints to go. I love coming to north park to eat and then stopping here for a lil dessert.“

“Staff were all very welcoming and engaging. They greeted you warmly and called out to say goodbye when you left. That kind of courtesy is missing from a lot of places and I appreciate the positive, human interaction. It had the old time charm that I think changes people for the better. The food was made to order and fresh. You could watch your food being made, that’s how fresh it was. “One of my favorite gelato store in San Diego, Nado Gelato offers a wide selection of gelato flavors ranging from chocolate to tart flavors like berry & lemon. I personally love all the italian flavors (panna cotta, amaretto and stracciatella) but my personal favorite is the opera (which taste like nutella milk ice cream with bits of hazelnut!) Parking can be a bit of a hassle on the weekends but I like to walk around Coronado before treating myself to a small/kid size gelato at Nado. They have both indoor and outdoor seating and the service is always friendly & quick. Parking: Street parking Price: $ Recommendation: Opera & Amaretto They do offer coffee but I personally haven't tried it so this review is solely based on their delicious, creamy gelato!“
