“Cold Stone Creamery Located in the charming Ferry Landing shops, Cold Stone Creamery in Coronado offers a sweet escape with a wide variety of ice cream creations, cakes, shakes, and smoothies.

We ordered the Cotton Candy and Peanut Butter flavors, both were delicious and definitely hit the spot! Each was $8.95, totaling about $17.90 for two small scoops, which felt a bit pricey for the portion size in my opinion .

There are some chairs and umbrellas just outside the shop, so you can sit and enjoy your treat while taking in the view.

There was a long line when we visited, and we waited around 15 minutes to order. Staff was friendly!“

“Love starry lane !! I’ve gone here since I’ve lived in San Diego for 7 years. Everything they bake is delicious, and we’re lucky to have a dedicated bakery available to us. When I’ve ordered custom cakes from here, people without dietary restrictions have said it’s one of the best they’ve ever had. The staff is kind and friendly, they are deserving of hype!“

“Suspiros Cakes Chula Vista CA are delicious!!! Go in person to check out their many incredible flavors. The staff is incredibly friendly (English and Spanish speaking) and takes the time to find you your perfect cake. I ordered the carrot cake and choco crema/pinguino cakes for my wedding-- all the guests raved about how good they were! It is great that some flavors are offered in 1/4 or 1/2 sheets. “I don’t usually make much of small outings anymore, but this Sunday I found myself stepping into Cold Stone Creamery for a simple cup of ice cream. At 58, a man starts to feel the years settle into his bones a bit, and I’ll admit I don’t often feel like the young fellow I once was.

But standing there at the counter, listening to those two young men behind it carrying ontossing jokes back and forth, laughing like they didn’t have a care in the world I couldn’t help but smile. Before I knew it, we were talking about women, about school, about what they wanted to do with their lives. It was lighthearted, easy conversation, the kind that reminds you of days when everything felt wide open and possible.

The ice cream itself was nothing to write home about, truth be told. At my age, I have to think about my diet more than I’d like to. But the experience that feeling of being included in their laughter, of sharing a few minutes of simple joy well, that was sweeter than anything in the cup.

If I didn’t have to worry about cholesterol and waistlines, and if every visit felt the way that one did, I dare say you’d find me in that shop far more often. For a brief moment, those boys made an old man feel young again, and that’s worth more than a scoop of ice cream.“

“We are locals and every time we visit Seaport Village we always visit this Ben & Jerry’s ice cream shop. We’ve visited so much we’ve had the pleasure of meeting the owner Michelle. She’s very friendly and loves her customers. She’s adamant all her employees make every customer feel special. On this occasion we were served by Julian who was a very nice, cheerful and a polite young man. We adore their homemade waffle cones dipped in a large variety of toppings from chocolate to sprinkles to nuts and many more. We are in awe of the huge selection of flavors. They have so many varieties they even have a Ben & Jerry’s ice cream made and dedicated for doggies. We love our ice cream and we love this family owned business. Go get your 🍦“

“Good ice cream and very generous portions. The small was equal to a large in the UK or other European countries. Ice cream is very sweet but so tasty. Being able to mix ingredients was a highlight for my daughter. Would definitely visit again.“
